Alain Roux is Michel Roux Sr son, Michel Roux Jr is Albert Roux son. so making them cousins. i guess people get confused cos Michel Roux Jr named after his uncle.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but OO flour does *not* mean very fine and nice and light but in fact that it's high-gluten.
Jan Zagorski in my eyes “00” is a much more fine plain flour but has a much higher gluten content
