A big reason why wrestlers appear to be a beast is BECAUSE the company books them that way. So I don't see your issue with booking Samoa Joe to be a beast. And to say that Joe is old news is completely wrong. He's still one of the best in the business today.
Who would you rather see? Since Styles isn't there, Joe is TNA's guy. And having Joe as the champion would bring way better wrestling matches to the main event than Magnus.
