I’d imagine flash boost technology on a Varuna would be the cat’s meow, but Shimano probably has that feature patented….great video, Ben! Is the Varuna’s action (rolling) more similar to Jackall’s Rerange?
Flash boost definitely has its moments, but I personally don’t need to see any more flash boost baits. Jackall definitely took inspiration from Varuna 👍

I need to get some more Varuna's. I like the Asura and Rudra as well and the high cut though not a trad jerkbait. I've been a JB fan for quite some time but after going way down the rabbit hole of JDM JB's with you, it's gotten out of hand! 😂 I almost need a cheatsheet in the boat for which JB to fish when. Lol
The smallest cousin of their jerkbaits, Durga 73sp, is my current favourite jerkbait thus far. Perfect weight and size for BFS fishing, all the action that their bigger cousins have.
@@thehookuptackle_usa possibly dumb question, is this line of Steez rods different than what we have here? Are the common folk able to get into this line or see specs in comparison to the Steez line now offered?

Well since Mr Namiki is basically responsible for creating Steez and has his own signature line of Steez I can’t imagine why he’d use anything else 👍
