Should be a note at the beginning of the video honestly since I'm sure we all feel the same about our dogs it would seriously change someone's life if they could've saved there dog but had to struggle to find the important part of the video,, great knowledge...terribly delivered in that one aspect

My 67 pound mutt started choking when I had dropped a treat in her open mouth as she was sitting with her muzzle pointed up at the ceiling and it seemed to go down the wrong way. I could tell something weird was wrong with her breathing from the effort she was making to try to get air. Not knowing how to do the Heimlich on a dog, but having been trained to do it on a human, I linked my hands under her body below the rib cage and tried lifting her upwards slightly several times. It did dislodge the treats and she started breathing normally.
