Geez. Reni is the most interesting drummer since Keith Moon, easily. But totally different, much more subtle, but just as complex. Perfect compliment to the Roses.
Have to say that at a "normal" gig the cushions are thrown much later, only during the finale, or the encore. But the rock energy lit the fire from the beginning. Sooooo FOOCKING HAPPY to have seen this gig.
When we went in they gave us cushions to sit on, that's what they are throwing. Ian was getting annoyed 'stop throwing...it's just too funny'. At the end of I am the resurrection everyone was throwing them at the stage, it was awesome.

It sounds like at 0:30 Reni says "levitation" to Ian. Good to see them on good terms less than 2wks after the Amsterdam nasty name-calling incident (Ian to Reni). Btw, if anyone reading this knows who Reni was mourning with his black armband during this tour, I'd really like to know. I've been wondering for ages and not seen it mentioned anywhere. I know Reni is a very private person, but I thought someone might know. It must've made things harder for him if he was grieving on top of getting used to being back in the public eye with (dare I say) quite volitile band mate(s?) Or maybe it's just Ian with the temper...
They are free cushion the staff distribute to people at the entrance. Because you are seated on antics stairs.. not really comfortable. At the end or every gig, everybody throws them on the stage ! The goal is to aim the main artist or the most shy.

Apparently they always throw cusions- so Bjork will be getting the same treatment at the weekend. At the end the stage was completely covered in them.
