I wish weijiang would release this in standard mp scale through legendary toys. It's by far the best look I've seen for this mold. Posed right on a nice base it looks like a fairly expensive statue. Love detailed paint apps on the mpp10 mold because the regular mpp10 looks so plain/basic/cheap toyish at that giant size. Some LEDs in the eyes and matrix would really make this the mp prime to beat.
Stole this for 79.99 at tfdirect during a sale, not disappointed. Yeah the hands are a little bit of a put off but i used them anyway. I even scuffed up an ebay autobot emblem for his shoulder. I'm happy with my purchase, thanks ben :)
Hey Ben, great review! One thing, though, you have the position of the smokestacks backwards. They should be extended for robot mode, to give him his cartoon appearance of random smokestacks on his shoulders. They should be pushed down for truck mode. The curved bit of pipe that's exposed at the bottom when they're pushed down is the pipe that carrries the exhaust from the engine to the smokestack. On a real COE truck, they actually curl under the cab.
So there are some MP customs on eBay that are painted exactly like the cartoon. They look like they jumped out of the Devastation video game. Look them up. If third party did that they would be absolute buys.
The devastation video game version of the k.o. Mp 10 is like 80-90 bucks. Ebayers ran wild for a little bit selling fakes as customs before the ko's started being advertised/sold to western markets.
I haven’t picked up an mpp10 mold yet, but I got their megamaster (thanks for that) and I think I might need to get this to have a counterpart to a megatron that size
thunderstudent there is an upgrade kit you can buy with yellow LED lights (the ones above the chest/windshield), a light up matrix, and light up eyes. Only downfall with those is the eyes look dead when you turn the switch off or when the batters die

I ordered a 2nd one and was getting worried because the tracking hadn't updated since August 5th. I was planning on emailing the seller the other day, but luckily it updated and is in Charleston. So hopefully Monday, since sundays suck and everything is closed here, I'll finally have this badboy.

I like that a lot. If these weren't upsized from normal MP size I would probably get that to replace my MP-10. I have a video on how to do easy dry brushing if you have any interest in doing simple effects like that yourself. And of course I can paint your Megatron to match that Prime or anything else you might want painted if you ever want to get that done. That's my job after all. :)

I have almost all the versions of this MPP10, the original, the white, the black, the EVA, the Lebron James, The Till, The Cell shade, except this one. I just felt they didn't do a good enough job to accentuate "Battle Damage" on top of a matte paint and a little bit of weathering, its just done bad. If it was on top of the shiny paint job, and start doing weathering from there maybe it would have been a great implementation.

It would be nice to see someone include something other than spike for the pack in figure - accuracy be damned i'd rather have some comic characters too like Ethan Zackery, The Botsmaster, The Mechanic, JB Blackrock, Carly (season 2 outfit), and many others. No one needs a dozen spikes that just sit in a draw - even Sparkplug would be nice to have. or alternative miniature device-bots in device mode. Sure we do get that but it's a bit spread around and people really don't seem to make Comic character - not even a tiny Death's Head or Circuit Breaker.
Reprolabels? I dunno, man...I would almost prefer taking a stab at using something like Gundam Marker paint pens to paint the headlights in. And a DEAD Optimus!? Having ideas of a nod to MP04S "Convoy (Sleep Mode)", are you? (That would actually be pretty awesome...but maybe easier to do using MPP10B as a base) I personally ain't a fan of the oversized mold - especially since I prefer the undersized MP10V mold from KuBianBao - but this just about convinces me to go for it, just for that centerpiece value!!

This toy so far is doing the best job of convincing me to get solid blue eyes for my Takara MP-10, these just look great.

In vehicle mode, the smoke stacks be pushed all the way down, not up.

I just felt they didn't do a good enough job to accentuate "Battle Damage" on top of a matte paint and a little bit of weathering, its just done bad. If it was on top of the shiny paint job, and start doing weathering from there maybe it would have been a great implementation.
To each their own. This is easily the best looking out of them all for me.
