You can easily depressurise an empty keg with a screwdriver. Just have to gently insert it between the rotating and norotating part on the keg cap and gently press to the wall of the nonrotating part. Takes less then a minute to deflate it completely.
To use the tool, simply place it over the top, push it down (the gas will start to release), then turn it to lock it on..... also if you put it on and then turn the keg upside down you can push on the bottom of the keg and you dont get sprayed in the face with beer !
How do go about de pressurising a full keg with beer still in it? I was given an out of date one to drink but never got round to it, now I feel like it’s going to explode.
Unless you have a tap like the one in the video, it WILL be a very messy wet job. The tap allows you to remove the beer. The release value red thing let’s the gas out. I have tried! Hence I brought the tap!
