- Sky News host Andrew Bolt is stunned Climate Change Minister Chris Bowen is in charge of Australia’s electricity as he was “in total denial” over a report from the Australian Energy Market Operator.
“The Australian Energy Market Operator did, indeed, just warn that the danger of power blackouts and brownouts next summer just got even higher in Victoria and New South Wales because this supposed transition to wind and solar power … is not going anywhere as smoothly as Labor predicted,” Mr Bolt said.
“But Energy Minister Chris Bowen, today, was in total denial.
“I find it scary that this bloke is in charge of the nation’s electricity.”
He’s also in complete denial about his intelligence and competency!

My power bill went up almost 50%, I've got it down to about 35%. Which is still too much.

I only use my air con in the summer now, a few hours in the afternoon, just to cool things down. (Ducted system)
I don't bother in the winter.

Canada retailers mark up very little. In australia 450%

I live not far from a large wind turbine farm, I went past the farm today, most of the turbines were stationary. The only ones that were working, were being powered off the grid. It's not hard to notice, that the ones working were facing in all directions.
Home solar cannot continue to be pushed back into the grid. As more do it it cooks the grid by pushing the voltage over 240v. Thats why each has to be connected through a smart meter to turn them all off remotely before they cook everybody's appliances.
I had to upgrade the wiring on my system as it had a cut off setup for that reason and was hardly ever operating!!.....My electrician told me all this and said this is just the beginning!!
