Hi guys. Despite not getting points in our first 2 games, I am still very optimistic about this team. When Kensa Dali comes back we will improve for sure, particularly linking up with Rachel Daley who I reckon is capable of another 20 goal season. Hopefully Carla can get these girls playing a bit better defensively. Need to be putting their bodies inbetween the ball and the goal rather than just waving a hopefull leg at it. Also when we start converting the chances we are creating (Think we still look a bit rusty), we will start getting some results. Despite those tough fixtures coming up, I am still hopefull we can nick a few points from those games. UTV.
I didn't watch much of the united match but in the Liverpool game, I think we're really getting shown up for a lack of depth up front. Daly is such a great player but she hasn't looked as electric, perhaps lacking a bit of confidence (also following the "point proven" season when she's shown herself to be worthy of eating at the top table). I really hope you're right and all we need is Kenza "the maestro" Dali to get back firing on all cylinders!!
I have made a pledge to try my best to make positive & not negative comments as there will be loads to pile in. We really are missing Kenza in midfield with her creative touch and we have to show more confidence to be on the front foot in midfield to be first to the ball
