I've had the absolute honor to Fourplay live 12 years ago before Chuck Loeb (RIP) took over the guitar spot in 2010 and saw Nathan East live solo last week in Long Beach 12 years after I saw Bob James live in Long Beach as well. Chuck is my favorite guitarist of all time will be truly missed.
It sounded like the beginning of Chuck' s verse didn't come through but instead of going into a panic like I might do he just played through it anyway. Now that is a pro who knows how to stay in time with the song. much respect.
Agreed....except I sense there were audio problems throughout the number.....at least with Chuck's guitar amplification/sound. I never heard/saw this particular performance so I had the same reaction....something just wasn't right. This is a Fourplay standard or regular play, and it usually sounds fuller and more robust in terms of the instrumentation, including the little faux sound competition up front. Chuck went with a wah-wah sound for his guitar and when he went off the wah pedal, the volume just dried up or went down, way down, just disappeared in key passages. Would love to know what went wrong....or he wasn't feeling right, maybe?
Best jazz album i ever had was fourplay first album still listened to it all the time
I was wearing socks when this started. Now I shall have to go and gather them up. Wow!
이 4인방 완전체 공연을 다시 볼 수 없다니 안타까워요. 2015년 내한공연을 다녀오길 정말 잘했다는 생각이 드네요. RIP 척 롭 ㅜㅠ
Maravilha, amei!!! ❤
오랜만에 다시 들으러왔는데 너무 좋은걸요~
여기 계실분들이 아닌데......리스펙트......
Rest in Peace Chuck!

This is the most awesome performance ever by fourplay? Love them breaks in the last minutes of song and it gave me goosebumps. Damnnnnn
