I too have moved to using smaller form scopes on my compact rigs. I like scopes with zero stops for easy return to zero but I set the stop 1 mil below my zero. That way I can adjust my zero for changes in weather if needed without having to reset the stop all the time.
Next step up from the Veyron scopes for sure, still really good value for money 👍. Looks like I might "have" to get a CF stock but for both the K1 and GK1, can't decide which one to get first though so I will probably end up saving enough to get both at the same time! 😁. I was handling all kinds of materials at my previous job with a similar sized forklifts inside the factory and little Svetruck 25120 with 4,2m forks and a Manitou MLT 960 on the outside. Nice little video. Thanks for sharing!
@@thehaze1972 it seems to me that after editing it, you deleted your previous comment entirely 😉 Like I said, I intend to put some more compact and not expensive scopes to the test, Hasse; as for your forklifting expertise - standby, I may need it, might try to make an on-the-move pest control video with a forklift 🤣
@@tlhoutman I thank you too, and there is one, my friend - in my list of videos. I shot the GK1 with a red dot and even my Leshiy 2 .25 at sky rats. Videos in the video list. Thank you 😊
I looked into the reticle but the one shown on the website is different in details compared with what you show. If dimensions are correct the circle part would be 1 mil. Standard faceplate size on a FTT target is 40 mm so if the faceplate would just fit into this circle that would give a distance of 40 mtr. (1 mil = 10cm@100mtr) . This would also work for different faceplate sizes e.g. 25mm faceplate filling the circle would be 25mtr. If the faceplate doesn't fill the circle then sliding the image within the triangle(and guessing its apparent diameter) will give you an indication of the distance. This will offcourse only work if you know the diameter of the faceplate for the specific target. I think it would be easier to guess the actual size of the target and measure the targets apparent size with the reticle dots, that way you can also get the distance.
