Something that is a giant Easter egg for tornado enthusiasts is that the finale of the film is taking place in El Reno, OK. Which is roughly 20 miles west of Oklahoma City on I40. This town has such a long history with super destructive tornadoes. The town had an EF5 tornado in 2011 (one of the strongest tornadoes on record) and then had the record breaking tornado in 2013 (a width of 2.6 miles wide, making it the widest tornado on record.) It’ll be interesting to see how the residents feel about it since they’ve had such bad luck with tornadoes.

@@davidsinkarsin the 2.6 mile tornado didn't hit the town but since it was so close to it it's just considered the el reno tornado. RIP team twistex

What id give to hear "Humans Being" on the radio in that film. Sadly Van Halen is no longer together, so we prob wont get new music on the album. But maybe well get a remastered track?

In the scene that resembles Bill and Jo under the wooden bridge - is that metal pipes they are clinging to? It might also have a little shout out to the finale with the F5 from the first film

that was my first thought, I didn't really see the bridge in that scene, the pipes and water spraying I for sure saw the well house scene from the OG
@@TheBurcham1 definitely! I think they kinda combined both scenes! As the pipes of the well but they hold each other like they did under the bridge.

@@anthonygarland8839 exactly! And technically that first trailer was just a teaser, this is the first "offical trailer". And they def knew what to do with this one to peak interest! I think im gonna review the International Trailer too, seems like people wanna see that one!

the fireworks may also be a reference to reed timmer's cannon probes from dominator 1 and 2. im guessing that because of the tubes and how the cannon probes shot out like the fireworks did

@@davidsinkarsin the song itself to me is forgettable but the goo goo dolls - long way down and Van Halen - respect the wind and humans being were the most stand out songs of the soundtrack how ever if they really wanna get the fans pumped they should play Van Halen’s humans being as the movie starts
@@Redmist-se7ld ya that album had some bangers! "Humans Being" & "Moments Like This" were my faves. Heres hoping thr new album will be just as good! Theyre bringing Shania back too. Shes the only returning artist for Twisters.
I'm thinking that the radio scene is kind of a spin off of the drive in movie theatere scene from the original twister and the sign that j10 truck that got sucked up in the tornado look at the drive in sign its similar to the galaxy sign that was in the original twister also from the drive in movie theatere that was another Easter egg that I had caught that looked familiar

This trailer looks like a quick passage into the realm of streaming or direct to video within a month. The crowd who are into tornados will be pissed at the cheesy effects and terrible dialogue. IMO, it looks like 'tornadoes v heavy equipment rodeo. It might do well in the 13-16 year male demographic. Have fun, consume your favorite intoxicant, at home, and have a good laugh.

This trailer looks really bad. Too many CGI and overdramatic effects. We also don't really know any of the actors in this movie and I'm not really feeling the vibe of the cast from the trailer. Won't hold a candle to the original.
Of course nothing can beat the original! But im willing to give it a shot, hoping to be pleasantly suprised!
