The loot from Karnataka only increased in the last few years, at a time when businesses were growing and opportunity to invest in Karnataka to boost social capital was best. In social parameters, Karnataka (especially Uttara Karnataka) is severely neglected and is in need of social programs to help improve access to education and healthcare. BJP has done nothing here, while Congress have at least made some honest developments. This election is for Karnataka and Kannadigas, it's between Siddaramaiah vs Bommai. Not Gandhi vs Modi. Ultimately, Modi will not be CM of Karnataka no matter how many times he visits Karnataka in the next month. Buying Sudeep to campaign for the BJP is a desperation move. Will Sudeep become the CM? BJP is on the back foot, if they had actually done any decent developments and investments in Karnataka, the evidence would speak for itself and they wouldn't need some outside force like Modi or Sudeep to campaign for them.
