Thank you for sharing the whole story. I was raised Catholic (in Italy is the major religion) and when I was a child I said to myself I wanted to become a nun. But since there is already a nun in my family (my mother's cousin) I didn't tell to anyone. I grew up with Mother Mary in my heart (I was born in a Mother Mary holiday too... October 13th, Fatima Anniversary). I sang in the chorus for several years and attended Catholic School on Sunday morning or Saturday afternoon. Then at 12 years old I received the Confirmation Sacrament. I chose my mum sister as Godmother. But the priests at the beginning didn't agree became she was unmarried with a daughter. Finally she was accepted but I started questioning religion. I had also started reading the Gospel by myself and didn't agree with the interpretation of the teacher of the Saturday School. So I left the following year and mum said nothing (dad is agnostic since he was a teenager... long story). I continued attending the Messa at Sunday but not always too. I started again later, when I was 21, but only because I had entered the adult choir. I sang there for about 10 years till we changed home. I had made mine the sentence "chi canta prega due volte" so I searched for another chorus. But in a couple of years my life changed totally. In 1998 I made contact with other religions, I had only read about in books (I have always loved Mythology, since I was a teen). I discovered the belief of Reincarnation, and it clicked. But Catholic Religion doesn't allow talking about. So I quitted, and in 2001 I became a Wiccan.
Speaking about people of religion, my mom at 17, was lost in the Santa Fe mountains. She had lost her feet to frost bite. She told me that one day, while staying in the hospital for her feet, a young Catholic priest, had come by to bless people. But, he had asked what faith she was. She said she wasn’t of any religion. So the young priest passed her by. A few months later, an older priest came in with out asking, just blessed everyone, including her. She told me, with the older priests action, she felt like he knew that we were equally God’s children, and that God loves us all. Never forgot that story she told my sisters and I. Thank you Colette for your story. It reminded me of what my mom went through when she was young. 💕❤️✨

A little bit ago I bought the 7 Energies deck. I happened to stumble across it on Amazon and really liked it and connected to it right away. I decided to buy it at that time. I have used the deck multiple times for family and a friend and it gave me a very accurate message for them each time. My friend who got the card about joining a group also got a card about music in the same reading and it just so happened that she joined a choir group that hadn’t started up yet. She used to sing in a choir growing up and then decided to get back in to it. I think it reaffirmed for her that she was doing what was going to be good for her. I really love this deck.
Wow. Oh Colette, how I love your stories! You have shown so much courage through challenging times and I’m grateful that it has brought you here to show us the way. I’ve been on a spiritual journey and when I thought I had arrived, everything changed once I had a negative experience at my church 2 years ago. And last year, during the pandemic, I started questioning everything. What remained intact, was my faith, love and adoration of Jesus, Mary, God, the angels and saints. Mary has played a much bigger role in my life now and the feminine/goddess role as powerful and nurturing . This last year has also made me more curious in oracles, astrology and nature. You have tied all of this together for me and allowed me to feel more connected to Spirit and my own divinity, as an emissary to the divine. I can’t tell you what a big role you’ve played in my life over the past year and how comforting it’s been to have someone to relate to and explain life’s journey in such a beautiful, hopeful way. I’m not quite where I want to be in regards to my spiritual path as I’m still looking for something that feels right, but I’m more at ease knowing that I will find my way. Omg this happened to me in church....i was so young and we went to a catholic church with my dads catholic family.....not my dad he left the church when he was young ...big battle ...anyway i went to get in line to get the little cookie (bread) the priest put in everyone's mouth....my aunt geabbed me really hard shoved me on the bench and made me cry...told me i wasnt allowed to get that i wasn't catholic....i had no idea what she meant....from that day foward i didn't like religion or the church...i always felt i wasn't good enough and went on to my chaotic life
