Besides the music itself, more then the progression Ash made as a person and character! Besides the trve black metal stuff etc. More for the big variety of his musical expression and personal development. Even the music he dedicated to 2 persons he got inspired from! Such an amazing album, I've been into Black Metal for so long but never heard something like this. I have to say that in the beginning I had some kind of dislike and not sure to keep listening, but the progression it started to make and the atmosphere it presents gave me a new concept of music, it does not feel like Black Metal (not until Winter haha) BUT it sounds like Black Metal, genuine and authentique Black Metal. I'm so glad that this exists and I'm looking into something like this, so if anyone there knows about any other album you could recommend me I'd be grateful.
Yeah kind of like Immortal but Nargaroth has a few songs that can be considered the best black metal has to offer. You just have to wade through the mediocre and cringe to find it.
