- Coopers hawks are a very high maintenance falconry bird to train and fly. Socialization makes a huge difference in their behavior.

i adore how shocked he looks. this could be a reaction image.
Facts 😂
Your Cooper's hawks have a real difference in feather patterns then the ones I film in Oregon. They have more of a brown tear drop than a streak.
I believe this is a juvenile, which is why they have a teardrop pattern. As they molt and mature this one will look more consistent with the Cooper’s that most people see
Beautiful bird
bro is flabbergasted
Beautiful. I have a video of one that flew into my Rose of Sharon's for a sparrow attack. I believe it was this one.
Great hunters and awesome bird's.
I love Cooper’s hawks. There’s one that hangs around my house eating pigeons, rats, and doves. I was barbecuing a few days ago and I saw one ripping a dove apart to eat
Soo beautiful please make more with him
I have these hawks in my yard
Beautiful cooper! I have a goshawk and he is the sweetest thing ever!
Have a family of them living in my hammock tree.

Aggressive hawks, one really should wear eye protection if you want to fly Coopers
Ahhh, he's so tiny looking! Is he as small as he looks? Incidental/situational birdwatcher here, not falconer, but falconry has always fascinated me and cooper's have nested on our midwest/east USA property for over 20 years now. Love the fledglings. We had 5 this year that followed us all around the yard hoping we would at some point decide to become a food source.
Your videos have been entertaining and educational. (Though I already could have told anyone how spontaneously temperamental these birds can be. Their mom has brushed my face and shoulders with her wingtips while cackling just for minding my own business doing yard work at the opposite end of the property out of line of sight of the nest.)
How many cooper's do you have right now? All 3 recent shorts look like different birds?
Passage or eyas?
Looks passage based off body language
@@LordDaymien you're absolutely right, thanks.
Yup a little more work to do ...he is not liking you right now. but hes getting there
Wanna pinkie?

No I don’t breed or sell any birds. I just fly them. But there are many good breeders here in the USA.
