christianzh and? Yes, it was 2008. My point is the reference is too much ysl. None of the editors acknowledged that. Don't get me wrong, I mean, I love his designs. He was the dauphin of the rive gauche line before the Gucci group bought it. A little acknowledgement won't hurt.
it wouldn't matter if it's yves reference. in those years between 2005-2009 it's all party dress with giant necklaces throughout paris fashionweek. it's the fade that created this, not particularly the original YSL being what Alber was thinking.

alber used to work with saint laurent before gucci took over and gave it to tom ford. so yeah
