you can raise the ground in the middle of your creations, this doesn't really make it cheaper (iron) but there would be no problem building it double or even triple the hight. The raised terrain would be your foundation to build the iron beams off of
Pretty sure torch colours are determined by the fuel source. If you build a regular iron torch, let it go out, and put in dwarf eyes or guck the colour of the flame should change.
Battling the mob of bats at the edge of the world was the most epic valhiem fight scene I've seen on RUclips hahaha love it man killing it with this series
I have a mod suggestion: "TreeRespawn_by_Aedenthorn", it plants a sappling when you remove a stump, this makes treefarms fairly comfortable. Great content, very entertaining 👍
I'd be happy with a mod that just makes even slopes to plant on, but that has merit too. I've spent hours upon hours in this game, but slopes are one thing I can't seem to bother myself with.
I'm pretty sure I've seen all the videos on your channel, but the ending of this one was the most satisfying shit ever! This build is just next level cool.
That actually looked like *Asgard's Bifrost* bridge, with a Circler Teleportation room/tower there, and with a longer bridge that connects up to the island, it can be a legendary build. Don't forget the Gatekeeper of Asgard, Heimdall the all-seeing and all-hearing :) (Since Valheim is based on Nordic Mythology, this would make perfect sense)
@ 27:19 - if you went back to the original tower build before you made it a blueprint, removed the wood and core wood bridge, saved it as a new blue print, you could place towers from your island the whole way out to the edge of the world connecting them using the stone bridges making a huge sea bridge. With the blue flames, and the stone work, it could be amazing. But would cost hundreds of thousands of stone and iron.
It would be absolutely sick if a bridge was made to connect it the the island. Either way this is one of the dopest builds I've ever seen! Fantastic piece of art!
Next : a staircase down? Could you get past the water and walk on the underworld? This reminds me of The Colour of Magic - if only you could build a boat on a pully to lower down.
I don't think buildings prevent water from getting inside due to it having no shape physics, the only resistance the water has is up, not left and right, so that wouldn't work :(
@@Tyndaal604 From the freecam it looked like the water didn't follow the face of the world cliff, and there was an airgap if you could get past the flow. While buildings don't stop water, if there is a roof pushing you down you don't drown either (unless fixed?). This appears to be how people have built underwater tunnels in other vids.
What i found out is that you can build with crystals and it basically counts like building with iron beams. We have a coop server where i found a mountain that is so high you can see the curving of the horizon. So i build a bridge with crystal sheets and it never hit a red color it is all blue and you can see to the very bottom of the mountain :)
Super cool! I'm imagining a tower wall like this going all around the world and then a giant island in the middle with the capital and tower walls branching out from it to smaller islands/biomes and the edge
⭐️ I really wish someone could create a 'flat earth' valheim map that had ice at the edge of the world and topographically resembled the 'flat earth' map...⭐️ if nothing else, it would be fun to sail and explore what flat earthers believe earth looks like. ⭐️
Reminds me of something from mortal kombat shaolin monks or deception, with the floating particles and everything, i can imagine a big floating portal at the end of the plank
You should turn the edge of your build into a Viking ship funeral theme where the norse longship is over the edge of the world ready to be sent off with flaming arrows ~ also would be really cool to make a norse hall for the ceremony leading to it which represents the halls of Valhalla!
Soooo... I am thinking of a tower bridge system from the island to the edge of the world... a loooong bridge to straight up walk to the edge of the world
1:30 that will also happen if you try to save a raft as a blueprint. That really sucks. I built a great pirate ship in creative mode and tried to copy it to another world... I only got this pile of materials and massive lag :(
Could go looking for frost caves? The drops can be used to make an armor to move fast in, I found them to be very atmospheric and interesting to explore though a tad hard to find.
If you built the terrain up in the middle of the tower to get a bit more stability could you then build some kind of hanging basket down from the end? So you could climb down below the world?
The point at which characters die is somewhere even with the water, it seems. You might could build a little lower than he has it, but GodMode would have to be used any further. Maybe there could be a mod to lower the death trigger on the edge of the world?
I saw fish in the last episode, and wonder if there's a way to make a fish farm on the edge. I 'm not sure if they're affected by current, and the height at which a character dies seems kinda high, but it would be cool.
I love you videos. I’ve on,y just started playing and would love to know how you get your mods and which you find most helpful and useful for a newbie. I’ve just built my first long term building using devcommands and really want more options available to me so I can create some of the masterpieces you guys create!!
only 10 mins into the video but i gotta ask, how come you didnt raise the terrain to near the lower wave height (as it wont be seen) and start your structural integrity journey from there instead of the ocean floor? *edit - 13 mins in, question answered 🤣*
Hit me up and i will teach you how to do a speed boat 🛥 in valheim. Using raft mod and an adițional mod. Pros = you go dummy fast and if you colinde you can fly like cross map if you are not in a closed space. Cons= you need 2 people to actually go places 1 on rudder and one activating the engine.
Do you think it's innacurate to call this the Bifrost? It's no rainbow, but perhaps it's the closest we can get :D
If you can make an extension using those crystal windows it would look the part?
you have to connect with the island :D
I thought you were dying to revisit and play Green Hell after all the updates.
Well that depends, will Surtr invade across the bridge with a flaming sword when Ragnarök comes? If so, yes definitely yes.
Bruh i was thinking the same thing
You should make the bridge with glass. It would look like the bifrost!
sick idea
you can raise the ground in the middle of your creations, this doesn't really make it cheaper (iron) but there would be no problem building it double or even triple the hight. The raised terrain would be your foundation to build the iron beams off of
Oh yeah
Raise the terrain to max height, plant a tree, beams on tree, cover it all in stone. Shave of the edges (of the terrain) and add stone.
@@oab lol

@@trollson66 Wait, so underwater tunnels have already been done? I need to search this immediately!
This episode you really pushed the game's potential to the edge
this is the COOLEST and most unique build on valheim!! you're killing it

If the blueprint had iron beams going out from the seabed you could go further out past the edge, albeit the waves towering over you looking back
absolutely amazing. definitely you're the only person I've seen do this.
love your idea for the iron torches. it just makes so much sense.
also your should consider making some of the connecting bridge with iron bar cage. so you can have a view of the underneath
Dude, your builds are really cool... Loving this modded series...
If your heart was pounding from that, I wonder how you'd react with the VR mod.
The mods you're using make it look like you're playing modded Minecraft in valheim. Nice.
What an amazing build! never thought this was possible, i thought it's the wind blowing you off the edge, not the waves
@broadbent that my comment, I believe, when you were building castle and you had trouble with falling stones :)
Yes, it was you! Thank you so much :D
This is pretty amazing! Always a dream to build an edge of world base. It's a shame building in the water in Valheim is such a pain.
Super cool! I'm imagining a tower wall like this going all around the world and then a giant island in the middle with the capital and tower walls branching out from it to smaller islands/biomes and the edge

the builds in this mod series been insane ,great job
Looks like any Dark Souls building where you just stand there and wonder how the fuck did they pull this off hahaha

This is the coolest thing i've seen on valheim
Giant stone statue between the multiple towers!
Very nicely executed. That looked so clean in the end shot, blue torches was a nice touch *chef's kiss*
Thanks! Glad you like it :)
5:20 omg i laughed so hard and so loud! at this! it was glorious!
You can put 3 diferent torch colours together to get 1 white brighter
Those bats were awesome!! Sorry man, dying sucks but thanks for keeping that in!!
Very nice build Broadbent! Bifrost is a perfect name :)
Congrats bro that looked epic!
very cool! the build looks awesome! it was very neat to see the supports go in during the build. Great job!
Now you definitely have to connect it to your island...
Edge of world base for maybe a Season two Mistlands Modded. Pretty sick
RIP
The Raft 2022 - 2022
This reminds me of the elevator you built in The Forest. I mean scale/idea wise.
I only got this pile of materials and massive lag :(
Also, there is a mod that changes color of torches. Its called TorchLightMod. Maybe you should try it.
Now make a base here too! Great view :D
Dude this could be your evil lair! Lol, love it!
You should connect your island with the bridge with a series of tower, maybe all different or with some strange shapes.
Still waiting for you to start an OSRS series. Nice vid btw. ❤
Careful that when you look into the abyss, the abyss does not look back.
ok..I stand corrected..great job!
Ok, hear me out- Connect the build to the main island for 1 mega long bridge and then have an ocean port!
Too expensive.
Just have a portal, which is still pretty cool.
Very cool build! I've just found this series and great fun watching it. :)
Incredible build mate :)
You are the legend of creation, My good sir!
Would broadening the base for the structure not make it stronger?
Hmmm... need to try that.
maybe you can make a dam, so can catch and park boat
Insane dude. Make a bridge that connects to the mainland!
Are you going to be the founding member of the Flat Valheim Society?
I wish I could give this three thumbs up! Bravo!
Do you connect it to your main island or leave it as it is?
Super cool build! Fun video! Great job and THANKS!!
Could go looking for frost caves? The drops can be used to make an armor to move fast in, I found them to be very atmospheric and interesting to explore though a tad hard to find.
Keep up the great vids!
Always happy to see a new episode!
if you did a diagonal iron beam to your walkway over the edge would that give you extra stability to go further out?
I can’t be the only person sitting at my PC yelling “Jump!” As you edged slowly up to the end of the bridge!! 🤣🤣
you're not lol
"Do a flip"
Insert GOW freebird clip here*
Making a tree farm next episode, with a later log cove in the woods :)
I think you might have to make your graveyard island a bit bigger now :(
It would be nice to have bridge from island to towers
Love the vids!! Keep it up
Looks great, hopefully you can extend it all the way back to your island?
Many have suggested it, but I probably wont do it. Just too much for so little.
If you built the terrain up in the middle of the tower to get a bit more stability could you then build some kind of hanging basket down from the end?

You can still build wood on top of the stone towers
Yep!
@@oab Like your content man. Keep it up :D

Are the numbers on those chest live counts? If so, what mod is that?
Wow, so cool!
super cool vid, keep up the great work
To speed up mining stone. Install several mods... Great tip! (not)

27:14 do you intend to physically connect it to your island or only accessible via portals?
How about connecting is!and with this build
press V to turn off your auto pick on characters
Said see the raft mod go is capable of doing so much more than just building a raft
Yeah i bet, but I just don't have a need or desire for the mod right now. It could return later on.
Has anyone told broadbent that trees count as ground?
Yes
