    Those axle nuts can sometimes be extremely difficult to get off. Before I had good impact tools, I broke my own breaker and the guy at O'Reilly broke 2 of theirs, trying to break it loose. I had to got to a tire shop and get them to break it so I could go home and do the work.

    Just one question..cuz Im fixing to do this job..the bearings and seals, I have a manual tranny, and cant find the seals. Theyre all for automatic. Will they work anyway?

      Thanks! They do have some manual ones, atleast I think this is what you are looking for. Try part number W0133-1642390 on parts geek website

    Crx question. To drop the oil pan, apparently the cv axle is in the way of removing the flywheel dust shield. Is everything you did required just to pop the cv axle from the tranny ?

    What about the safety crip around the bolt... Wouldnt it make taking that first bolt off easier?

    • @LostSocketMotorsports
      @LostSocketMotorsports  7 месяцев назад +1

      It could but most of the time it’s not going to be easy even if you somewhat undo that

    Wheel not spinning when torquing new axle nut. What would cause that?

      Is the car in gear?

      I'm having the same problem on my 1988 crx. Wheel spins fine when axle nut is lose. As soon as I torque it down, wheel is locked. Will not spin. Transmission being in gear or in neutral has nothing to do with it.

      It wasn’t terrible at first but blew all the shocks out, I then replaced the shocks with lowered ones and it road so well after that. There’s a video about the lowered shocks too

      @@LostSocketMotorsports Thanks I will definitely check that video out and decide from there!!! I’m leaning towards getting the kit seems like you can’t beat it for the price I have a 2.2 manual same exact year.

      @@chasecarter8733 nice, the lowering video has the link to the kit I bought and the shock video has the link to the shocks as well.
