Got a video idea- Go thru your earlier games when you were between 900-1200 and compare your thinking to your most recent games. Similar to this vid in a way but yeah I think that would really show your improvement and the change in thinking that comes about . Just a suggestion but would be really stoked if you took it on.
Super interesting. I'm rated about the same as Jim, and it's super interesting to see how a much-better-but-not-a-super-GM player evaluates a position. I'd love to see other videos like this one with black and white pieces and different kinds of positions. Really loved it!

Great idea 💡
@@LightSquares so you are going to do it I assume??!!
im a 1600 and u understand the game 10x more than me, you will reach higher elo soon, trust me, keep it up.
That is very kind. I deserve my rating because I still make too many one move blunders. I need to raise the floor. It will happen with time.
2:03 - I should have been clear c5 is also quite natural because Bb4 is not an option.

Thank you, I will be producing more like this.
Great video and explanations of your thinking processes. Helps us lower players question moves more.
It would be cool to get Jim-Burger to do a video like this of a 600 player.
Nice video and hope you do more similar to this
I love your videos !
Thank you!
Am a new sub for a month now...but u inspired to play b6.. i only play d6(pirc defense )vs e4 but rest is b6 !
Nice, 1 d4 b6 will often result in 2 e4 from white.

If you are talking about discovered check then no due to qc2 response.
What about knight a5?
First thing I noticed too!
Queen would just slide over and block the check.
