It's irrelevant if someone believes they are or says they are "speaking the truth" - or even if you like them, people are allowed to create a platform.
For many people, the biggest issue with AJ is a) His Judeo-Christiniac warbling which seems obsolete but appeals to a large amount of Americanish people and b) His entertaining style raving, might cause more confusion that it solves - but that does not mean it is all nonsense, or that someone should be closed down ( and the lawyers last time made it clear they want to shut him down so it is not a deluded persecution belief by AJ as you imply, it is a fact ).
It is interesting to see where the buttered toast falls with the the L and C - "reckless disregard for the truth" - is it collective cognitive dissonance that everyone forgets all the time, what AJ repeats constantly, that many times the media and govt have said things with "reckless disregard for the truth" if not provable deliberate lies and - he cites many examples and examples of when he was proved right, as is lawyers have cited - but everyone ignores those - that is great logical fallacy and selective reasoning.

That's because people aren't taught to think critically till at least college. Some never even take the course and that's precisely what makes this system work for a group of people. NxE ways the point is that you have a legion of people taught since birth to look to others for a job, and not to be creative. They are easily led and are suppose to be fed to the job creators.

Now is Jones funny to me? Yeah he is because I see thru it, and know they check sales to show performance. Also I know this ends bad for him at some point, and I believe were in the end chapter. No story is complete without an ending.

Also, in regards to the 1st Amendment; if your not adult enough to discern Alex Jone's language and what's true and false, then you don't embrace freedom. BOTTOM-LINE: This is a political prosecution to silence Alex Jones and anyone else like him who challenges false narratives. Fortunately (hopefully) this and the other cases that were tried against him will be overturned in the Supreme Court. This will go to the Supreme court!!!

That is incorrect. Defamation prohibits the reckless or negligent sharing of false facts that damage another person's reputation. Alex Jones' conspiracy theories on Sandy Hook spread intermittently over a 5 year period meets this criteria, by damaging the reputation of the victims and their families as well as the ensuing harassment they suffered.

Hey Alex....once you're found guilty, regardless of whether or not you agree with that, then yes, you can be prevented from claiming your innocence. EVEN in a criminal trial. In fact, I've even seen a judge prevent the mother of a murderer (who claimed his innocence but was found guilty) who was giving a statement before sentencing, from saying her child "didn't do this". This poor mother was trying to advocate for her son, and plea for a lesser sentence, and while the judge was willing to hear her out, he absolutely would NOT allow her to say her son was innocent or that he "didn't do this", because he had already been found guilty. You can say you're going to appeal, you can say you don't agree with the ruling, but you will not be allowed in court to say you're innocent, once you've been found guilty.

The people who attacked the victims specifically mentioned Jones. He also emphatically claimed that his lies were true. Like if he had just been like "in my opinion" rather than "This is 100% fact" we wouldn't be here. And the "This is 100% fact." is a direct quote from Jones about his Sandy Hook lies. The presented that last Thursday in court.
The death threats went on for years and i think people are still under the belief it was staged directly as a result of Jones and his 'reporting'. Jones also has made a f*** load of money off his platform and sandy hook widely made him more popular. This is what happens to journalists, but CNN and fox lawyers actually show up to court and not default. Jones doesn't even understand the law, he's complaining about being told he's guilty in civil court. Like first of all it's not guilt and second that's exactly how civil works! You don't get a 5th amendment for libel/slander civil suit either..
Wolfgang Halbig was a co-defendant in this lawsuit , he settled with the families last year. Lenny Pozner sued Jim Fetzer. So it's not just Jones.

Where is the video of his entire appearance outside this morning? I watched it live and it was awesome! I think it was on a Fox channel. After he finished they picked up the proceedings going on inside. Law&Crime cut out early and didn't get his entire speech.
