You know what mashup would be cool? A mashup of "Kiss the Girl" and "I Won't Say I'm in Love". You could play it out like a mini love story. A guy and a girl like each other, but he's too shy to kiss her and she's afraid of getting her heart broken, and their friends are pushing them together and convincing them to follow their hearts. They finally kiss, and the girl finishes it with, "At least out loud, I won't say I'm in love." It would be awesome.

Not only do the songs have similar underlying themes, but the Greeks and Polynesians were both seafaring cultures who settled on islands. So this is an ingenious combination on multiple levels.
I love how you guys combined the melodies of two songs that delivers an almost same message of longing to go further and to do something great before everything calls to be settled , for me it's just simply majestic

I like the flow, the way the two songs are mixed add to both rather than the opposite, so great beautiful job on that. You really did well on showcasing their powerful moments, which are different and yet combine quite well. :)

Can you imagine if there was a crossover (most likely with Kingdom Hearts help)? Like the scene where Maui and Moana are fighting off the Kakamora and she has to retrieve the Heart Of The Ocean. I would imagine Hercules and Moana fighting off the Kakamora and parkour several barges to get it. At some point, Hercules would grab Moana's hand, leap into the air with her, and then do what I would call a mid air slingshot by spinning around midair and let go making Moana sail over to the barge where the jewel is located.
The slowness of I Can Go The Distance works so well with the fast part of How Far I'll Go.

I would actually say that's why they work so well together. Moana's song is the journey and Hercules song is the destination. Notice how they started with the former and ended with the latter
