You're giving a master class on this social media platform that covers the Medical Coding and Billing so well. My daughter is so thankful. A spiritual TV broadcaster said, knowledge is change. She and I have been praying for a review that is geared toward passing the Medical Billing and Coding certification exam. Somehow, some way God has led us to your site. The Lord is not allowing us to give up. God works things out for good. She trusts God and trusts the process. She needs this review to make progress to help her more than ever. Thanks yet again for the hope, encouragement and support.
I am so happy to hear that the videos are so helpful. If you would like some additional help you might see my books on coding. They are on Amazon icd-10-cm, PCs and evaluation and management coding. Find Amazon books and type in tropin. Good luck to you and let me know how you do on the certification exam.
Ooops I thought I purchased the ICD 10 CM. I thought it was early for the CM 2024 but I'm new so didn't really know. I will just have to get your CM book in September. ❤@@tropinsmedicalcodingmadeea7551
Wow wish you were my teacher. Im in thousands of dollars student loan debt and cannot pass the rhit or the cpc exam. Went to school in Martinsburg WV while living in Maryland. My entire graduating class is struggling to pass exams now.
I am so sorry you and your class are struggling! This stuff is confusing. See the videos I posted (as well as others) to get a better understanding. Make lots of notes in your books. Have you gotten the review books from AAPC and/or AHIMA? These have lots of practice questions. Good luck to you!
Please how can I find the index view of the ICD-10 in the online browser? I checked on the advance search but there wasn't anything like that. Thank you
The x placeholder is always used to move the 7th digit to the 7th place when needed. Other letters appear at the beginning of a code (to indicate the body system, such as M for musculoskeletal) but they may also be in the middle of a code.
Thanks!
Welcome!
I am learning more from you than my own Medical Coding Instructor! Thank you so much 😊

I have two of your books and thank you so much for doing these videos. You break things down so well
Great video thank you Terri.

I am out of town right now so I can’t get the link. Look up the coordination and maintenance committee and see the links at the bottom of the page.
GREAT JOB. WHAT DOES THE A STANDS FOR IN THE CODE 121.A9
It means they ran out of numbers and had to start using letters. No special meaning for letters in the middle of codes only when it’s the 7th digit.
@@tropinsmedicalcodingmadeea7551 I thought the X was always used as a placeholder..?

@@tropinsmedicalcodingmadeea7551 THANK YOU SO THE LETTER A IS JUST A PLACE HOLDER? DOES THE LETTER A ALSO MEAN OTHER
@@brendawhiteside3785 in this case yes. Look at the use of letters in the category H44.2.
Hello, so inclusion terms are considered as subterms?
The inclusion terms in parentheses will not be indented under the main term in the index. They may or may not be in the documentation
just want the nfo, dnt care about your credentials. Put that at the end for those of us wh want info.
Some people care. You can just skip that part
