Dear Respected Dr Yasir Qadhi. U r a lifesaver for me & ocean of knowkedge. I have gained so much knowledge from your lectures & always Boost our Emaan. I thankyou for your hard work and dedication.
Alhamdulillah! جزاك الله خيرا YA RABB! Please protect us from all SINS: major, minor, past, present and future. Help us to be mindful of what we're doing at all times. Please protect us from the evil whispers of shaytan, the evil that lies within our own souls and save us from the torments of the hellfire by YOUR mercy! 🤲 اللهم امين
As a reverted I am so much thankful to u Dr Yasir Qadhi I have learned and still learning so much knowledge from him Dr. Yasir Qadhi my fav. Islamic preacher/lecturer
SubhanAllah. JazakAllah Sheikh for a better understanding. Oh Allah please guide the entire humanity to do good by remembering you and keeping away from evil. Aameen.
There are two types of scholars. Practical and fiqhi. Practical scholars like Dr Yasir are quite necessary because, they are the best gateway to Islam for non Muslims. They simplify Islam and Islam is a simple religion for the most of people. Make it easier to understand. Fiqhi scholars on the other hand, are more with bookish knowledge, sift from right or wrong etc. Both are important. But the problem is, the fandom or the following of the scholars or sheikhs butting heads against one another. In Reality the both types of scholars are saying the same thing..from two different perspectives, where both are correct.

Lovely religious and academic analysis. Lets stick to Quran and Sunnah not our academic analysis of major sin and 'minor' sin. Eventually our aim is not to comment any kind of sin particularly willfully.
@@sajjadzaki4467 Jazakallah khairan dear brother. May Allah bless you. I didn't know that a hadith like this existed, and in the Sahihayn of all places. It is a major sin. Informing us about the inhabitants of Hell, Allah says in the Quran: (The people in Hell will be asked:) “What has caused you to enter Hell?” They will say: We were not of those who used to offer their prayers (Salat). Nor we used to feed the poor (Al-Miskin) And we used to talk falsehood (all that which Allaah hated) with vain-talkers. And we used to belie the Day of Recompense. Until there came to us that which is certain (i.e., death).” So no Intercession of intercessors will benefit them. (Surah Al-Mudathir 74:42 to 48)
Ye time is up listen this what Allahswt says bout sin Ms Ryhanah van Nieverhuizen ye don't think like a Muslim you think you are untouchable listen to this carefully Ms Ryhanah van Nieverhuizen l here what Allahswt says
He that denies the son denies the father also unless you receive the son you can’t receive the father Jesus said I am the way the life and the truth no man comes to the father except through him only the blood of Jesus can wash away your sin believe in him and have eternal life reject him and you will die in your sin and go to hell
He is superbly eloquent with the Islamic scriptures. But he did not dissect the root cause of sins, why man commits them, their implications from a spiritual and metaphysical standpoint and how can a man who has tendencies to commit sins knowing they are so can still mould themselves to eventually avoid committing them. Without addressing this, the walk through only provides a superficial treatment of an important topic.
@@darcylicious22 thanks but it is a very long series but I still skimmed through one of them. Unfortunately, they are again mostly statements about religious beliefs and idealistic norms that believers should follow. They do not provide a concrete decomposition of what is typically referred to as the problem of evil in philosophical jargon. Kadhi Sahab is profoundly intellectual and I can understand why he cannot proffer such details since they may be misconstrued as the word of God while it will require him to do his own interpretation which he is staying away from. I must admire this discretion but my question still begs the answer. I feel time has come for the Islamic Theological leaders to delve into Islamic teachings of the Prophet and interpret them in a the present context, most importantly changing this from a believer vs non-believer comparison to humankind in general.
You so jealous of me wife but she reads her namaaz for many years and she don't have a salaah mark on her forhead you rub ye head on the musalah to show you are a namaazi person not a single lady has a sallah mark on there fore heads so listen to this carefully

Is not praying the 5 prayers a major or minor sin?
It's kufr
It is a major sin.

Wait, is Shirk a Major sin? Would worshipping an idol not take one out of the fold of Islam?
There is also minor shirk you might not even be aware you are committing it.
