Great Guy and Great Channel !
Between you and Gettin Salty, you are doing a phenomenal job at documenting the Heroes and Stories of the FDNY.
These accounts are truly living history.
It’s also nice to hear quite a few of your guests are/were volunteers in their communities.
As a volunteer in the ‘burbs of Jersey for over 30 years, I probably saw less fires than these guys see in a month.
Their professionalism always shows and FDNY’s rep has always been stellar.
4k cameras, cell phones with high resolution cameras and DRONES are making the video/visual documentation of current jobs much more interesting/appealing to the non-FF community. The “buffs” of today are producing tv network quality content vs. the Super-8 film and early camcorders/video tape content of previous generations.
    Thanks Mike!

It was a beautiful day my wife tried to talk me to not go to work that day because it was my Birthday. But I went because I just loved that job. Just happened to be able to survive that day being on West St. and Liberty St. when the first building collapsed. As Fire Marshal's my Boss wanted to secure the Command Post. Funny Ray Georges partner was my Friend Stan Walczyks brother in law and a Hicksville native who lived on Cornell near the park.

George Howard performed so heroically during the 1993 World Trade Center Bombing that it was no surprise to see him rush down there again in 2001. Also, I’m glad you’re still with us Truckie. Thanks for all you & your men did that day.
