ఈ సినిమా చూసి సెన్సార్ బోర్డు అనుమతి ఎలా ఇచ్చిందో అనుకున్నా....ఎందుకంటే పోలీసుల నిజ స్వరూపాన్ని బయట పెట్టింది ఈ సినిమా. అనుమతి ఇచ్చినందుకు వారికి 🙏🙏....సమాజంలో ఇలాంటి నీచమైన పోలీసులు చాలా మంది ఉన్నారు.

Very interesting movie. This movie was nominated for Oscar award from India
The first half of the movie is based of true incidents. 4 innocent tamil labourers were arrested and tortured by Andhra police in 1983 and after 14 days of hell, they were released. One of the survivors is now an auto driver in Coimbatore and he wrote a tamil novel depicting the saddest part of his life, which he says still haunts him.
Vetrimaran had a chance to read that novel and instantly decided to make a film on that. The 2nd half of the film hapenning in Chennai and that little love angle, is his imagination though.

అధికారం అనే ముసుగులో ఎందరో అధికారులు ప్రజలను కపాడవాల్సింది పోయి ఎలాంటి యతప్పులను చెయ్యని పేదలను పీడిస్తున్నారు. ఎవరైతే అలా చేస్తారో వాల్ల జీవితం కూడా అలా అర్ధాంతరంగానే ముగుస్తుంది.నిజాన్ని కప్పి ఉంచడానికి అధికారులు తీసుకున్న డబ్బు ఆ రోజు వారికి ఏ విధంగా సహాయపడదు.ప్రతి ఒక్క అధికారి గుర్తుపెట్టుకోవాల్సిన విషయం ఒకటి ఉంది ,తిండికి గతిలేక పనిచేచేస్తూ రెక్కాడితే గాని డొక్కాడని స్థితిలో ఉన్న ఎందరో యువకులు ఎంతో గొప్ప చదువులు చదివిన స్థాయికి దగ్గ ఉద్యోగం దొరక్క ,కుటుంబం ఉన్న స్థాయిని చూస్తూ ఉండలేక ఏదో ఒక పని చేస్తూ జీవనాన్ని గడుపుతున్నారు....అలాంటి వాళ్ళను హింసిస్తే చివరికి కుక్క చావు చస్తారు..... భారత్ మతా కి జై,జై జవాన్ జై కిసాన్ జై హింద్...🙏🙏
