the sound design is insane. also most the cars featured are prototypes from known manufacturers at the time the movie was made, very well done in all details
Amazing little film. According to Christian von Koenigsegg himself, this is the film that gave inspiration to the young Koenigsegg to create his own supercar brand of the same name.
This movie inspired Christian Von Koenigsegg to create some of the Most luxurious, Ultra rare, Technologically advanced, Expensive, Fastest Hypercars on the planet. But dang that's crazy that this simple stop motion animation helped the childhood Koenigsegg to build some of the world record breaking cars that no one can ever do.
Another cool fact is since its premiere on 28 August 1975, the movie was shown at a cinema somewhere in the world every day of the week, for 28 years. Mainly in theaters in Norway, Moscow or Tokyo, the non-stop run ended in 2003.
The fact that they got Gunnar Nu Hansen to narrate the race in a movie makes my dnaish heart jump with joy. And then u see wich modern movies did sumthin similar like this is just more awesome
@@Andre-ic2un I don't think that is going to happen.. I wrote to Remo Caprino a few months back, asking if the movie would ever come out on 4K.. he said no :,(
Da han træder speederen igennem gulvet og klapperne går ned foran lygterne - og hvordan motorlyden ændre sig - blir sendt direkte tilbage til min barndom 😊
The powerful and wonderful sound of Il Tempo Gigante from 19:11 to 19:17 is a pure powerful orgasm 💪💪💪 Jeg blir stolt over å være Norsk av å se denne fantastiske filmen 😆👍👌
I don't think I know of any movies with better engine sounds than this one!

They used a alfa romeo monteral for the driving sound. And the start up is from a cessna airplane.
This is the best racing animation ever 🏎️
THANK YOU for uploading this
This movie will always have a place in my heart.
Yes, in my heart too 😆❤

If it wasn't for this film, Christian von Koenigsegg would've never built cars.
swedish joke huh
@ColdConceptOfficial It's the truth. CvK saw this movie when he was six years old and wanted to build cars ever since.
@@VigilanteAgumon yet he wanted to make a very VERY FAST cars so it can hit the world record

I don't understand a single word of Norwegian, but I watched the shit out of this video. Amazing!!
Its danish, but I will forgive you, they do sound similiar to the untrained ear 😉
the movie is original norwegian but this is a danish dub
Search for "Pinchcliffe" and you'll get english dubbing
Мультик из моего детства! Смотрели его в пионерском лагере "Ветерок" ,вечером в открытом летнем кинотеатре. Впечатлил тогда помню очень!-:))

The moment when Il Tempo Gigante fires on all cylinders and the asphalt curls under its glowing tires is the #1 goosebumps moment of my childhood.
This upload saved my day! Thanks👏👏👏
Im happy to help 🙏😁
This film need a remake, maybe in 2025 for celebrating 50 years
Remake?! Why does it need that? The film is perfect as it is!
No need for remake!
It needs 8K and that’s it
