Haha I feel it pays to be honest about these kinda things 😛 especially with so many new people starting a journal around this time, it’s good to let them know that even the people who have been doing this for a while struggle to get things filled in some times, and that’s okay! 😄💪💜
@@JashiiCorrin honestly i love your channel it's a big help for me and sure for a lot of people thank you so much for sharing your beautiful journals🤧❤
Thanks Temi! 😄💜 I feel that it's important to share the struggles; don't want people having unrealistic expectations of themselves from me only showing full pages! 😋
Gosh seeing that you have unfinished pages makes me feel SO much better about my journals...I can just start again the following month and everything is okay :) Thanks for being so transparent :)
Sometimes when I don’t complete pages, it’s because something overwhelming is happening in my life like being sick or someone dying or something stressful at work. So I put it away and when I’m ready to come back to my journal, I write my thoughts, feelings, or experiences across the blank pages. My March 2020 productivity tracker was filled with poignant quotes I found online about the pandemic. Sometimes I just write “felt very ill this week. Arthritis flare.” Then the pages aren’t blank. They have memories.
This made me feel so much better about not having filled out a whole lot for the second half of 2020. It was... more challenging than expected. 😅 This helped me feel it was OK that I didn't fill in every little section all the way.
I'm glad it made you feel that way! I know that sometimes I get a bit down on myself when I don't have completely full spreads, but putting unrealistic pressure on ourselves like that isn't healthy! 😅 glad that this flip through could make you feel better about not having every single thing filled out 💜
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it! I do love having dot grid paper in different colours 😄 Even if fully black pages aren't something I thrive on, haha. Glad you're enjoying the notepad!
I tried the Neapolitan for mine this year and I'm migrating in September, a couple months early of when I usually switch over. It was a creative challenge for sure, but the black pages stressed me out
Thanks for watching! In bound journals where one section of paper meets the next (happens in all journals, not just the Neapolitan) there’s often a glue that helps to hold those sections together along with the stitched binding 😊 I don’t like how the pages stick together, so I ripped them apart and got some paper transfer 😛 normally it wouldn’t matter too much because all the paper is the same colour, but of course in the Neapolitan they’re different 😅
I feel like that happens sometimes when your using an expensive journal. At least the way I see it, I feel like when I am using something hat I see youtubers use and that is expensive, I feel like I am not worthy of using the supply and that I am using and that I am using it wrong. If any of that makes sense. I feel it helps if you forgot the fact that it;s expensive and that it’s yours and that you could do whatever you want with it. If any of that makes sense, I hope it could help!
I know this is an older video but do you by any chance remember about how many pages there were per color? I was thinking about getting one of these journals
Love it! I enjoy the variety of your spreads. You should be able to remove the scrap paper now though, no? Once the ink has dried, I would imagine it should be ok and shouldn't transfer to the other pages? Great job on the journal!
Thanks Tammy! 💜 It still transfers for me 😅 I’m pretty good about letting the ink dry, it’s more that any pressure from writing on future pages (or even just having the book closed) makes the dried gel ink transfer 🤦♀️ kinda like what happens when you have A LOT of pencil on a page and it transfers to the next over time 😅 hope that makes sense!
Haha I totally feel you on that; gel pens are NOT my favourite. That would could be easily done on white paper though, just with a reversed colour scheme 😋💜
@@JashiiCorrin 22:03 I Loved it so much! Thank you for making me happy and helping me on my journal last year! You motivated me to keep on track with my life and of course help me with journaling. I appreciate all your hard work and cheers to a new start! Until the next flipthrough! ^-^
I love the way you show empty pages and uncompleted pages it's really give me comfort and you never walk alone thing 😅❤

@@JashiiCorrin I completely agree!!
I just started the video but all of the spreads are just so cute! I love seeing the ones that I've watched videos for.

Most welcome! I think it's important to let people see that even us here on RUclips don't fill out every single layout! 😝💜
Damn I’m pretty early😌
I started watching you around a week ago and it’s so fun so far to see all your spreads🥰
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it 😄💜
I haven't done my bullet journal for a year, but now this is making me wanna start again!! Also, DANG you are NEAT! ❤️ good job
I mean, I’m in team “start again” 😛 hehehe 💜 and thanks! Glad you liked it 😄

Such a good idea! I've done that in some previous journals, but didn't in this one 🤔 would have been good to have those notes in there!
omg i LOVE this flipthrough!!!
Haha thanks! Glad you enjoyed it 😄💜

Thank you for sharing unedited used journal. Helps ease my perfectionism. And you are creative and inspiring. Happy New Year!
Happy new year to you too! And you’re most welcome 😄💜 no point in sharing “journal lies”, haha
Wow, I love your bullet journal! You use some really great page ideas and they look so nice. You should be really proud of what you have made!!

You're welcome, I use the black paper to add coloring sheets.
Flip through! I was wondering how the Neapolitan journal would work!
It was a fun experiment 😄 back to white paper for me!
@@JashiiCorrin hehe 😂 well I loved the flip through and the journal either way. I think the Neapolitan pages made it cool to look at!

Thank you for the flip-through! When the blackout pages meet other pages, there seems to be something transferring over. What caused that?
