Grant's Getaways: Lewis and Clark Slept Here

When visitors travel to Fort Clatsop near Astoria, they touch American history. That's because "hands on" is the way of the world at the place where Lewis and Clark slept when they visited Oregon more than two hundred years ago. One of Oregon's few National Parks, the park rangers show visitors the everyday life of the explorer's day-to-day existence: from simple candle making to the more challenging job of carving a canoe, no detail is left unexplained.
