Thanks for showing 2:09, I was able to go my regular route without any problems after the nerf, but I didn’t kill this guard like I usually do (thinking that Jugg would spot him in his line of vision). Nice to know I won’t have to keep waiting for him to pass before moving.

Imagine Rockstar nerfing this again and removing the stealth option altogether, or making it so that all the guards can walk all over the compound
They'd have to change the elite challenge to take out the stealth option because not getting detected is part of the checklist for elite
Removing stealth altogether would ruin the fun of the heist.
Random paths everywhere... Yikes. I think every stealth run would almost become a pacifist run, just to prevent bodies.

@@GhostFreake If you get spotted and finished the heist, it will say that the Elite Challenge is void. And then the “Don’t get spotted” challenge will appear in the screen despite not appearing.
@@Brick224 Was it added recently,. A lot of times I got spotted as I was escaping with the dingy from the main dock and still got the money from the challenge (a year after the heist was added).
I was playing with a friend last time and we would get caught after collecting the target, alarms would just go off after immediately collecting it. Sometimes a guard just pops out the door in the basement across from the entrance to the right of the target (not the elevator, but the other way in). After we collect the target and go back up through the elevator, a guy with a very large cone appears at the entrance and just sets off the alarms too.

Because more guards spawn after you take the primary target and one of them sees a dead body
Biggest nerf from this, that I can tell, is that we need to use the load out with the shotgun to kill the juggernaut, as the other loadouts don't have weapons as nearly strong as the shotgun for close targets, so there's an added risk of being spotted when you try to kill the juggernaut.
As a result, we can't use the loadout with sticky bombs, to rig the Valkyre and bring it down before leaving the island.
I saw guy on some other channel running behind juggernaut to make him fall down and then spray his ass until he dies. It is not a must if we can master that trick.

If so, the assault rifle load out should definitely do the job.
I would usually use the Assault Shotgun loadout anyways.
When I first started Cayo Perico I would use the Military Rifle one but then started using the shotty and found it so much better. It’s nice to have as you don’t have to headshot every guard when you’re using that thing and I can kill the Juggarnaut pretty consistently whenever I feel I have to or get confident to do it. Plus the Machine Pistol that it comes with already does the job perfectly at killing targets from medium range with headshots. You don’t need a rifle to do that.
@@Brandon-br7tc I think to not get detected you wait him to move in a straight line and then run up to his back and then push him while running. Otherwise he might alert the guards. Not tested yet thoç

This is my way (only explaining compound cause that’s the hardest bit)
1. Enter through drainage tunnel with kosatka
2. Shoot the camera near the 2 guards at the pool
3. Sneak past the 2 guards through the narrow hallway right of the 2 guards
4. Sneak past all the guards and wait for the guy at the front to move away
5. Kill the guard on the top floor of the office building
6. Get the money from the safe and get main target
7. Sneak past all the other guards to the exit
8. Just go the way you wanna exit and try not to get caught
and I wouldn’t be surprised if they removed stealth altogether
Usually I use the longfin approach/ main dock and grab the secondary loot by the airstrip then use the same boat to the drainage tunnel but now I finally found the perfect guide Thank you so much bro

I say this with full seriousness, I did this exact process to remain stealthy and still got caught. This update is incredibly frustrating

@@CzarviveYt what else does cause the only guys i done recently was i kill the guy who was changed to climbing over the fence near the start, knocking out the guy behind the gate so the juggernaut doesnt c him then i knocked out the guy at the bottom of the stairs then i knocked out the guy who came down the stairs and if i got the keys i would get the money out the safe first then i would unlock the gate get the target then for some stupid reason a red blip with a massive cone detects me and the alarm is raised is this a glitch or a bug cause none of the extra guards or cameras were in those areas
@@stuarthough8440 shit makes people quit? I have stopped playing it. Now I just grind my crates and call it a day. Rockstar knows what they doing. They screwed over everyone because alot didn't purchase there new upgrade, so they gave us all the finger. Well jokes on them though, when you own pretty much everything in the game, plus money to spare, there tricks ust don't matter. It becomes a play every once in awhile and play something else or just enjoy life in general.
Rockstar alienated there fan base, and when gta 6 drop they may feel a pinch from that because people will remember how they did them in 5
Thanks for the guide , once outside even using your guide after a while Rubio was alerted , even after taking out the jeep and the guards as described. Normally by the time I leave the check point the alarm was raised . I’m guessing there but more randomness involved with the changes.

It seems to be popular to do that path in the compound. In terms of potential combat, I can see how going counter-clockwise would be advantageous. I just don't personally care for the path because it involves crossing the path of the juggernaut. After smiting the pair by the pool, I keep going past them and hug the outer wall for a while. Usually, I get that guy that stares at the wall, and take out his nearby camera, but now I spared both on the off chance some new spawn would find the body after leaving the vault.

@@SatkelNoob and the guy at 2:43 still got detected after the bonds so i just prey that guy who goes behind the wall has the keys and when i got the compound i took out the guy in the jeep and all those guys and the camera and a new jeep came through the entrance and i got spotted maybe he only appears on hard but when i took out that new jeep i got my 2 coke and escaped i waited for the jeep at the airstrip to drive away after i took out the guy by the airstrip building where the 2nd lote of coke was and i nearly got spotted by elrubio and i thought he was gonna c the body but he turned away thank god

So it was the vehicule guard in the compound backyard area that was keep screwing me and detecting the bodies of the guard I've killed at the checkpoint... Well I salute your work here mate on the cayo analys, got yourself one more sub
The way I see these nerfs is Rubio got tired of being robbed so he upped his security ya they are a little tougher but not much if you've been through the heist a few dozen times

it is indeed a lot more difficult nowadays although I think this is a lot better unlike when cayo had just come out if you had a friend who had a kosatka you could grab a few million on a Friday night. Thank you for tutorial bro ✌️

U don't have to kill any guards till you're out of the compound technically. You don't have to even do that!
if you let the juggernaught walk past the 2 guards by the pool you can kill them and he won't stop their bodies. did this with a friend and they seem to drop keys very consistently so no need to kill any other enemy
and this wasn't a fluke, we have done it 3 times since yesterday, 1 time with 3 of us. never killed the jug

For those wondering. It does work for pc solo. It worked after the 3rd try. It might be random or the timing must be super precise. Trust me it works✊️

Moving jeeps were an annoyance before. Now they're a real problem. I do things by disguise, but still have to kill the occasional guard by loot shacks and critical infrastructure, and shooting these moving targets is a serious problem for a sniper loadout.
Well let’s just hope Rockstar doesn’t quote Nerfed unquote this heist ever again in the next major update cause if they keep doing that they should have never made this heist in the First place

The one at 2:41 triggers the alarm for me (body spotted elevated and thru walls mind you and is the only guard i kill) , he is spotted by the jugg or the guy patroling below
Same thing happened to me but eventually he wasn’t spotted through the walls and I was able to escape. I was getting very frustrated and confused
Nice content bro, I've never killed the jugg, Always skipping him. Plus to make it easier I use the longfin as transport and I head first to the north dock, fill my bags there and then I go to the drain tunnel

But my question to anyone who might know this, is whether we can still collect the loot from inside the compound without getting spotted, since there is really only one guard we may have to kill, and that's the one guard which literally stands right in front of the loot room facing the cliff. I know there's also a side door entrance to that room, so perhaps killing him is still avoidable. Of course, this also only works if we can somehow get the access card from one of the guards we kill which won't end up triggering an alarm.
I know that after you leave the room, some new guys spawn in. Since nobody new crosses the path of the guy in front of the room, I went ahead and offed him and also the guy standing at the bottom of the stairs.
I spared the guy that stares at the outer wall, because I knew some new guy would spawn in and walk laps around that area. I don't know if it really made a difference, because I don't know if the new guys will see bodies of the prior shift.
I recklessly smote everyone in the gate area of the compound, even though I knew that new guys would show up after I left the vault. I basically got away with doing that. Maybe their paths didn't cross, or maybe the new guys just don't see the bodies of the first string.
Actually, inside the compound part is still easy. One way is to get Aggressor weapons and use the shotgun to kill the Juggernaut "at the right place". My inside-compound path still works; just the 2:09 guard in this video - I have to kill him where this video shows. If I do that, I won't get detected, even though I kill several guards (but not all). Usually you get keycards after killing 1-3 regular guards inside the compound and usually gatekeys are held by those "personal bodyguards", who - you can still kill, if using my path and - if you use Aggressor weapons and kill Juggernaut at the right place.
But outside of the compound is another story. There I was in serious trouble, tried like 5 times, then gave up and used 2 PC-s and 2 accounts to get loot from inside the compound.
If you want to know my path, watch my channel videos, but I haven't uploaded the one with after DLC. But it has not changed much.
@@hasidila188 Yeah, I'm aware of the method that requires killing the juggernaut and where to kill it from watching some recent RUclips videos, but today I found a way to complete the heist totally undetected as a team while being able to loot every loot room inside the compound. The only chance of failure with my method is if you can only get the keycard from certain guards, but that is unlikely. I always use the Kosatka and the drain tunnel approach. The method I use doesn't require that that you kill the juggernaut. Also, me and my crew never do anything outside the compound because it's just unnecessary for our strategy and approach. It's just always safer and easier to keep everything inside the compound, so I really wouldn't be aware of any changes outside the compound to be honest. Still though, I appreciate your information because it can always come in handy if something else changes. I'll check out your videos as well and I'll be posting a video of my method as soon as I'm able to replay the heist. Thanks for the info bro.

I always did this heist with the kosatka, drainage tunnel entrance and main dock for secondary loot and escape, I only ever kill the guards that get in my way, I do not kill the juggernaut ! since this last update I somehow always got caught and the guards would keep killing me but I learned why that happens, when i spawn outside the main entrance after I got the primary target there will be the guard standing behind the dirt bike, I kill him along with the other 2 guards at the front booth where the security camera spawns at and I shoot that also. The problem is that there is a guard near the helipad that’ll drive up the main entrance and spots the dead body beside the dirt bike and also a jeep drives up the road to where the front booth is at with the 2 other guards and security camera. I was thinking they were seeing the dead bodies and gave away my position. So next time I did the heist I did my normal routine BUT I waited for them to drive through so I can kill them quick then go to the main dock and get my secondary loot. if you really think about this the 2 guards in the vehicles drive up within the time it takes me to get to the secondary loot and that’s when I’d get spotted. once I killed those other 2 guards near the front entrance I haven’t had a problem since. please try this and tell me if it works out well for you. I wanted to share my personal experience to help others because this is a great way to make money and we can’t let rockstar bring us down. Good luck all and have fun

What do you do at the main dock?
I use that for escape point and secondary loot. Kill the guard and shoot camera on the far left side, run up and kill the guard at the end of the dock, then I grab loot and kill the other 2 guards that are talking on the dock beside the dinghy which I free aim at the one’s head and I double tap the trigger button and it headshots them both instantly so the one doesn’t fall in the water and give away my position

@@franciscojesus5948 yeah pointless update if you have the aggressor weapon loadout but it's impossible to stealth kill the juggernaut with any other loadout. I'm currently stuck because i accidentally chose the conspirator loadout 😭
Good advises though ! Me and my friend are used to have a stealth way through the compound by killing Juggy and rest of bodyguards are on our way, then whilst one is looting the office, I head down the compound and steal the main goal. After we avoid them nearby the gates and rush left and swim to nowhere till we leave Cayo. Luckily that's enough to get elite

What prep missions should i do
I play solo and from now on just kill four guards, two of them at the airfield. Take Longfin to airfield, then drainage tunnel. Kill no one in compound but kill the guy with the bike and the one in the jeep on exiting it. That's it. But I guess you could avoid killing the last two and just run to edge of island but that would take ages.

This guide made me realize how bad I am at doing this heist.
I don't really like this nerf, and I don't believe it's realistic at all. When a guard sees a dead body, they evidently should put themselves in state of alarm, but not instantly discover your position, because that wouldn't happen in real life. Maybe, when a guard spots a body, make instantly appear more guards and make it harder, but not to lose the stealth mode.
When you looted the 2nd warehouse in main dock, why did you go to the airstrip instead of just leaving on the dinghy again?

Hmmm considering these new problems, a nice way to do this without getting spotted is to start with the Velum, and get bags full in the warehouse. If there's uniforms and truck, easy to get inside without killing anyone. Then in the compount, kill the personal guard who walks between the left staircase and the other gated door inside that part where the Juggo can't see him and then proceed normally and go by the sea. 🤔🤔

As long as You are not Taking Out Guards which Are in Juggy's Path You are good to go..

good video but sooooo much more work then needed....only need 3-4 kills ever for Cayo perico ......once in from sewer ...go left ..kill the 2 double guards standing by the ledge.. stay left !!...jump the wall/stairs ..wait for pat to go in hall and run behind the 2 buildings ...stay wide left to the Panther cages and slide right and hop the ledge to the terrace of the main office..kill main stairs guard...and either go to underground or main office here (your personal choice= vault money etc if you go down then only 3 kills if you go up to the office you have one more to knockout/kill with knife/machete) .....Your main exit from here should always be from the underground gate weather you went in or not ...when at gate go up 2 small sets of stairs and climb over the wall to the left and exit......Bing boom bam .. your out......kill the fool guarding the bike and be gone /game

I usually just turn around as soon as I enter the compound get on the roof from the ledge and walk past all the guards all the way to the office the guy at the bottom of the stairs usually has the basement key then I exit left through the basement door and climb the ledge to the left and go right out the door, and then the drive off the cliff method and swim between bombs till mission ends
tbh it's pretty easy still IF you know what you're doing
if you take the rightside stairs, it's just to the left and run almost a straight line towards the office. The 3 you killed are theonly ones that i always kill. Only works if you start running right after the cutscene of you coming out of the sewer ends.
If you want full lootbags go to the other bit it looks like a mini warehouse and kill the guard then take out the camera and you will get your last little bit there
I usually do this heist with the Longfin, fill up on coke first in the North Docks and then Airfield, go through sewer, grab bonus loot in office, grab main loot, exit via cliff. Do you think you can do a stealth guide for that route?

This is way more complicated than the one I do, I literally just get the velum in and loot the cocaine or weed and then get guard clothes then go outside the compound kill the guards that moving and one with the code, get in on the front right side then shoot the first red on map guard, wait for the other one move into near the gate like you did and then go kill the one upstairs after that I have no issues no need to kill anyone else, once I’m out compound I literally just kill one guard and steal the bike and drive left pass the helicopter and straight into the water and keep swimming until it’s finished
n PC there is a bug where you will be teleported into the ocean (aka the island despawns) and you may or may not have the game soft locked (I have had it to where I couldn't quit, or pause), or with an endless stream of rockstar server error messages that prevent you from closing the application.
They literally broke this heist to be greedy.

If you need to go to the mary jane fields for looting and finally escape through the main docks (as I): Remember that a patrol will be bording those fields, sooner or later! Ambush him or let him pass, it's your choice.

I get the feeling there going to nerf it again but make the suppressors cost $200k and remove Aggressor, and Conspirator then make cutting torch no longer cut through locks so we have to use demolition charges then add lock cutters that are only available for GTA+ members, then there going to change the finger print scanner to only 1 minute and if you fail the alarms go off, and the guards can run into El Rubios office and one tap you while your doing finger print scanner, then make so you lose $100k every minute and lose $200k if your shot, double all positions of the guards so there's more guards and they can walk every where in the compound randomly, and add a camera into El Rubios office that pointed directly at the door and doesn't move, wouldn't surprise me if rockstar did this
I know this one route that avoids the juggernaut whilst also killing a maximum of 8 people (7 if you're doing solo) both entering and leaving the compound
something to note too is im like 90% sure they changed it so that now the key to the basement spawns randomly, it used to be where only the guards with the red vision cones would drop it
No, they very RARELY didn't have the keys, that's not new.

If the red guards didn't have the keys then in would drop from the other guards. It's not new but it's not worth killing the other guys.
I just go to airport grab almost a full stack of coke but not quite full boat down to the sewer entrance then instead of going forward once you enter the compound i turn around vault ontop of the balcony railing then the walk along it and vault up onto the wood thing and run along the roof to the top of the arch way on the other side that takes you to the bottom of the stairs up to the office and kill all 3 gaurds you killed but you dont have to wait at all all of them should be in the correct spots to not get seen if you do it quickly after that i grab primary objective and finally i jump down to the steps next to the west storage to phone glitch into that and fill the rest of my bag with gold before leaving with the motorcycle infront of the gate and sending it into the ocean.
Takes 10min to do get max payout and elite challenge and its braindead easy to do as long as you dont miss your shots and dont struggle with the phone glitch.
I hate how rockstar has to make it as hard as possible to grind out solo stuff. Cayo is like 85% of my income. I litterly hate this hiest as is why make it harder
imo, if they really do keep this massive nerf to cayo... something that may help us is if they add icons for dead bodies so you know where they are. but if we know rockstar and their sharkcard greed(which we do, and they are *very* greedy), they wont make cayo *any* easier.
