I got rid of all but 8 pockets and 8 teeth on mine it would be two pockets directly across from each other so the wheel stays balanced. Its less maintenance and less money in teeth and pockets. Grinds much faster than having all those teeth on there put less drag on the motor and keeps rpms up. You should try it out
How have the green teeth been working out. I have a similar unit but with the 1/2” teeth. It’s time for me to replace and was Curious if it was worth the swap.
if you're referring to 6:52, I did not stop there, with a small machine you have to make two passes, one shallow, and then one deep. I excavated the ones i needed where the house foundation was going, then these ones I just needed out of the way for site prep and only ground 4-6" below grade
Hi, great job on the stump grinding. Can I ask you a few questions about stump grinding. Thanks
Great video. Im looking forward to seeing more.
How long did it take to do all of them im looking at buying the same model of grinder

What’s the difference between a 206 and a 186 ?
I recently purchased the same stump grinder. Where did you purchase those teeth from ?
Huh, i never knew you could just tow these behind your truck like that. how fast were you going?
55, make sure your bearings are greased and you’re good to go. 👍

@@kingtidetractor8962 thanks !
And would you say 2k for a 186 is worth it?
2k ifs its in good shape, great deal.
That stump is NOT finished lol. It’s still siting 1 inch above ground once you clear the material. I saw the stump still there

And how do you price jobs?
I found by the hour is best. Flat fee upfront for showing up ( price based on distance traveled ) then my hourly rate after that.
