@@junechris I spoke to Phil at the Show in Dallas and he said he cried for three days, When Jason left the band. It was tough but his replacement has gave Phil motivation and it shows. Listen to the new album and or catch them live they are just rippn it up. PERIOD

I've always thought Wiley was such an underrated guitarist. He was soooo damn good back in the 80s, but very few would mention him. Glad to see him still doing what he loves.
just saw them last night and this is so true -- he's up there with the best of the era.
Been a Fan since Surf Nicaragua!! When me 18 year old daughter was 2; I been jamming Surf Nicaragua and she would try to the vocal growls! Then when Independent was blared! My lil Angel would tell me to play that Dependant Song! She also loved Living Dead Girl and would sing along, and would sing it at preschool!! To this day I can proudly say my two girls are still Metalheads and I became friends with a Swedish Band and me and my girls are planning a trip to Wacken Open Air!

I am 49 years old. I listened to Metal since 1986. I have heard about them in 1980s. I can not believe, I missed them all this time. I ordered the awakening on vinyl just today. They sound amazing. I checked their old stuff on youtube. The new stuff is just as good as the old stuff. Amazing. I am pissed.
Much Respect To Phil…he never compromised his sound or the integrity of his band…by keeping himself true to metal & releasing music again on his terms…definitely a legend in my mind!!!🤘

Saw them at BA2019 in CZ - I'm proabably in the distant background somewhere at the 0:44 mark. They were great and had a really good attitude, especiall. Funny, down-to-earth and very wholesome.
