Plagiues was hated by the ancient Sith as well for his ideology and declaring BEFORE SIDIOUS the rule 2 is over and originally planned to not take an apprentice. He met palpatine by chance and the force itself influenced him into taking palpatine as an apprentice. Part of palpatine disdain for his master came from Plagiues saying the rule of 2 ended but made him not make maul a sith because it violated the rule. Palpatine didn’t even plan on killing Plagiues the day he did, the book explicitly says as he was walking out the dark side itself spoke to him and told him to kill his master. The Sith also didn’t end with palpatine

i think its because he believed palpatine would play his part in the grand plan of the sith but he didnt expect sidious to still pull it off along with other reasons like plagueis thinking sidious shares the same views as him
I thinks it’s similar to force judgement used by plo koon, it’s not a technique that’s easy to use and while anakin had one biology hand left, it’s not like sidious had time or a reason to teach him
What if the experiment with the midichlorians that Darth Plagueis and Sidious conducted didn’t just backfire and create Anakin but resurrects Darth Vitiate as well?
Plagueis was 100% a sith lord, but he was already far, FAR beyond Palpatine, it is mentioned in the book. He would easily be able to kill both Yoda and Sideous when they were distracted even if he hadn't trained, as the surprise factor would have blindsided them both. He also had a bit of pride in Sideous and would have been enraged by the attempted assassination. He planned to do away with the Rule of Two, and rule the galaxy with palatine as true equals. He just wanted to experiment with the force.
Bro just wanted to be an evil nerd and rule the galaxy with his homie but nooo palps just had to sneak him in his sleep. I feel like for the sith to ever actually maintain themselves for more than a couple lifetimes they need to be able to recognize an equal and ally, and a reasonable ceiling to how much power one could have before it left them vulnerable. The rule of 2 only worked bc I gave them a productive use of their infighting but with only 2 sith they couldn't control things deeply enough to prevent the light from rising. They'd need to have allies with stable positions in the general hierarchy or it all falls apart. Honestly just train dark siders without connecting them directly to being a sith. Only the most powerful and accomplished could hold the title, as well as requiring sith specific training. So like maul would be a dark side acolyte, not a sith, but in their sphere of influence and necessary for long term success. I Doubt the type of person who becomes a sith by choice would think Abt that at all, too busy plotting on their masters downfall since their training starts

Considering how many times Palpatine has been brought back, this what if wouldn’t surprise me if it actually became canon/part of an alternate timeline. Day 146 of my list. What if; Anakin never gave into his feelings for Padme (Pentre Patrol did his version), Aayla Secura was the chosen one and became Darth Talon, Shme Skywalker was adopted by the Tusken Raiders, Boba Fett saved his Tusken family, Count Dooku was a regular count for the CIS, Jabba the Hutt supported the Jedi at the Start of the Clone Wars, and finally, what if Sabine and Ezra fell in love?
This was amazing. I’ve been a fan of your videos for a while and it’s always fun to see your interesting SW what if’s. It was also fun to see Darth Plagueis returning in Revenge of The Sith getting shown some love. This is definitely an interesting scenario and it should definitely get shown some more love. Plus I think we can all agree that this is probably one of the most interesting/worst scenarios in SW…but it’s a welcome one. Also if Plagueis did return…then it would definitely be an interesting opportunity to show another side of his character and make him even more interesting. It was also nice to see Plagueis coming back into the fray and showing his power getting shown some love, since he’s one of the greatest force wielders to exist and definitely made us all proud. Plus it was nice to see Plagueis get his vengeance…afterall you don’t just cross a Sith Lord and expect to get away with it…and when it happens, it’s always fun. Also it’s always nice to see just why Plagueis is a badass Sith as well as just being who he is…being a powerful Sith. Great job as always and I can’t wait to see what you do next. I do have a few ideas for some possible what if’s: 1) What if Rey was a Mandalorian…essentially what if Din Djarin found Rey and took her in as a Foundling. 2) What if Ezra was a Mandalorian…something like how both his parents were Mandalorians who left Mandalore and went to start their own lives (you could still keep most of Ezra’s backstory) and potentially make Ezra and Sabine a couple (since Disney won’t, we have too…#ezrabine4ever. 3) What if Jango Fett and/or Boba Fett Joined the Republic…I think something interesting could happen with this. 4) What if Rey, Finn and Poe went back in time to the Clone Wars…this would make the World Between Worlds even more of an important focal point and I could also see them get along well with Anakin, Ashoka, Rex and the rest of the 501st (it would be fun to see Rey, Finn and Poe join the 501st) I hope these are some amazing ideas for some potential What if’s

What if anakin went to dathomir in revenge of the sith to search for ways to save padme. What if yoda decided to swap the masters of ferus olin and anakin. So anakin with siri. Obi with ferus What if ahsoka and anakin crash landed on bendu's planet. Also what if darth vader joined thrawn in meeting the bendu and went on a spiritual journey back to the dust ball tatiotene. What if the whills turned padme into a literal force angel to save vader.
What if Revan wasn't found in stasis until the first year of the clone wars? That would mean that Revan in his prime would be alive and well, and Darth Vitiate's spirit would still be dormant since Revan didn't awake his spirit at Yavin.

Great story loved it 1 bad thing tho I think you did plegus killing palpatine too quick should of had them talk then go for the kill and then when anakin fought plegus and his lightning cause thimgs to explode and cause a fire should of had plegus say oh not this again😂
I like the idea but the pacing is just way too fast - you don't take nearly enough time with anyone other than Plaguis or Anakin. This is a fun idea! Slow down, rework this into a few parts, let a few more characters play bigger roles, and mix it up a little more - it's just so weird that Plaguis would just sit out the clone wars if he were alive - he would HAVE to be up to SOMETHING. And since he would have to hide from both the Jedi and Palpatine for a time - that in and of itself could have been a pretty cool story - Imagine if Palpatine had learned Plaguis was alive and USED the Jedi to try and stop him! That totally could have worked! Think about how Palpatine could frame it - it would be perfect for him - either 1. Palpatine says Republic Intelligence has a lead on some powerful Force user other than Dooku and suggests this must be the other Sith the Jedi said they were looking for 2. Palpatine comes the Jedi in a panic - begging for help, saying "Hugo Damask has seemingly come back from the dead, but he's different! Warpped, evil, please Master Jedi, you must help me!" Either would be totally plausible in my mind at least and the Jedi would act. They could deal with Plaguis and Palpatine would have the PERFECT cover story! If Palpatine himself led the Jedi to the Sith and it actually WAS a Sith, that would be that. The Jedi would assume - Plaguis and Dooku.

What if Anakin was a slaver, and not a slave? It seems a bit weird to have a 9 year old be one, but, I don't know, have him be adopted by a Hutt or Zyggerian or something I don't know how he's supposed to fulfill the prophecy, but maybe after getting training from Jedi, killing Maul or Dooku and Grevious? (On Mandalore or Zyggeria, I can't see those two vulnerable anywhere else)
Plagueis would capitalize on padme with Lord Vader, feeding her lies, about a very specific Planet to created a factory, Command Center Labs, then Padme would send the signal Vader is dispatched. To guard with a contigent of Interdictors and a few areestors cruiser to to the Job to exploit the rebels and a Black Hole, to send them to Kingdom come
I know people don't like the sequels but I'd like to see a what if it was Plagueius who returned & was manipulating everything in The Rise of Skywalker, IMO the plot would have been better served with that story & Palpatine would still be dead leaving Anakin's story intact.
@@davidordaz5251 My greatest complaints with bringing back Palpatine ONE it ruins Anakin's redemption of destroying the Sith or at least killing Palpatine. TWO they made a Vader Comic run between ESB & ROTJ, and in that run Vader discovers Exogol and goes there to try & overthrow Palpatine and essentially he learns of Palpatine's Plans & not once did he tell Luke after becoming a Force Ghost about them to stop them & if he did tell Luke then Luke & the Republic did nothing to stop Palpatine's return, ruining both characters & making everyone's struggle to stop Palpatine in ROTJ pointless.
You're forgetting one aspect of Plagueis from the book. He could order ones midi-chlorians to leave as he did with Veruna. With another 18 years to refine that, he could have done that to Anakin while keeping him distracted defending Padme. Why am I so tired? Anakin thought with horror as he died. Plagueis deserves to win.
Plagueis should've let Kenobi finish him off. Anakin was a lost cause the moment he had a crush on Padme. Plagueis and Sidious were fools. They both should've kidnapped Anakin after he left his mother's home.
What if anakin spirit in the world between worlds saved padme by making her a force ghost or new mother if the ones. She could make him help ben solo and others saying you got to help people who are suffering from your past actions. What if anakin was piloting before attack of the clones and sensed ventress fall to the darkside as her master died and took his ship to the planet to investigate. Perhaps starting a romance as they are very similar in their stories. Also what if ahsoka taught ben skywalker as she saw him as history repeating itself. What if anakin was a jedi watchmen or wayfinder. What if anakin went with kenobi to face maul and savage instead of adi gallia. What if anakin fell in love with luminara or your own version of aayla secura romance. What if oppo rancis trained anakin. What if anakin met and fell in love with ventress just before the clone wars just after her masters death. What if anakin became a jedi sentinel like a watchmen or one of those who find younglings. What if evan piel became a mentor or second master to anakin. Or anakin became a healer either before or after his mother death could be related to his friendship with offee or alternatively what if he was trained by tra sa who taught windu and actually did not forbid attachment as shown by her relationship with tholme , they could become like a pseudo parents to anakin and train him away from the temple in azati martial arts and from trasa the living force as she is a plant lady so imagine anakin controlling plant life.
Not necessarily. Remember the Sith were publicly declared extinct and by the time of the Clone Wars, people believed the Sith were just a rival monk order with no real power. Similar to IRL beliefs about native Americans being tree loving hippies, instead of the conquerors and slavers many tribes actually were.

Slow down, rework this into a few parts, let a few more characters play bigger roles, and mix it up a little more - it's just so weird that Plaguis would just sit out the clone wars if he were alive - he would HAVE to be up to SOMETHING. And since he would have to hide from both the Jedi and Palpatine for a time - that in and of itself could have been a pretty cool story - Imagine if Palpatine had learned Plaguis was alive and USED the Jedi to try and stop him! That totally could have worked!
Think about how Palpatine could frame it - it would be perfect for him - either
1. Palpatine says Republic Intelligence has a lead on some powerful Force user other than Dooku and suggests this must be the other Sith the Jedi said they were looking for
2. Palpatine comes the Jedi in a panic - begging for help, saying "Hugo Damask has seemingly come back from the dead, but he's different! Warpped, evil, please Master Jedi, you must help me!"
Either would be totally plausible in my mind at least and the Jedi would act. They could deal with Plaguis and Palpatine would have the PERFECT cover story! If Palpatine himself led the Jedi to the Sith and it actually WAS a Sith, that would be that. The Jedi would assume - Plaguis and Dooku.

Plagueis would capitalize on padme with Lord Vader, feeding her lies, about a very specific Planet to created a factory, Command Center Labs, then Padme would send the signal Vader is dispatched. To guard with a contigent of Interdictors and a few areestors cruiser to to the Job to exploit the rebels and a Black Hole, to send them to Kingdom come
Plagueis would never take Anakin as a apprentice but kill him on the spot
What if Yoda also sent Anakin dreams? Or something on the lines of Yoda figuring out the Sith’s plans and sent Anakin a dream to try and ease him.

I know people don't like the sequels but I'd like to see a what if it was Plagueius who returned & was manipulating everything in The Rise of Skywalker, IMO the plot would have been better served with that story & Palpatine would still be dead leaving Anakin's story intact.

@@davidordaz5251 My greatest complaints with bringing back Palpatine ONE it ruins Anakin's redemption of destroying the Sith or at least killing Palpatine.
TWO they made a Vader Comic run between ESB & ROTJ, and in that run Vader discovers Exogol and goes there to try & overthrow Palpatine and essentially he learns of Palpatine's Plans & not once did he tell Luke after becoming a Force Ghost about them to stop them & if he did tell Luke then Luke & the Republic did nothing to stop Palpatine's return, ruining both characters & making everyone's struggle to stop Palpatine in ROTJ pointless.
a better ending for the galaxy, no death star and Anakin got to not suffer nearly as much.

You're forgetting one aspect of Plagueis from the book. He could order ones midi-chlorians to leave as he did with Veruna. With another 18 years to refine that, he could have done that to Anakin while keeping him distracted defending Padme. Why am I so tired? Anakin thought with horror as he died. Plagueis deserves to win.

Plagueis should've let Kenobi finish him off. Anakin was a lost cause the moment he had a crush on Padme. Plagueis and Sidious were fools. They both should've kidnapped Anakin after he left his mother's home.

Not necessarily. Remember the Sith were publicly declared extinct and by the time of the Clone Wars, people believed the Sith were just a rival monk order with no real power. Similar to IRL beliefs about native Americans being tree loving hippies, instead of the conquerors and slavers many tribes actually were.
