Dead Space 2 is kind of like what a perfect movie sequel would be. The short version of that would be that it ties up loose ends, brings back and mentions the old story, and it is just a great game even if you didn't play the first one. Dead Space 1 and 2 are some of my favorite games of all time and I could talk about them for hours. Even Dead Space 3 was at least decent. It made you think there would be another one. True gems of the horror game franchise.
Charles Jones What did you think of the 3rd edition though. I'm obsessed with Dead Space. I have comics books, animation film, etc But... For me personally, they totally changed the horror aspect in the 3rd edition, and changed the nature of the game. It became just another shooter. Sometimes, wanting quicker, better, faster stuff can be crippling to a product, and here I think they fucked it up. Dead Space 1 and 2 are just perfect games in my opinion.

I hope they learned from that mistake, and come up with a new DSpace edition. They're now got the character. They've got the subject matter. All they really need to do now is create some new monsters, better graphics, some new weapons (as in no sniper rifles, but rather tools that are used as weapons), and and new story. Hell! Fuck it! Why not even create a whole new protagonist. It doesn't always have to be Isaac. It can be someone completely different, as long as it is done within the subject of Dead Space.
Extremely excellent video - from a fans viewpoint, I got to see alot of really cool stuff and learn alot about the process and what was in the minds of the Visceral guys.
In DS1 they gave Isaac a suit and a plasma cutter. In DS2 they gave him a face and a voice. Perhaps in DS3 they will give him a PERSONALITY. Still: A good video and a great game. Excellent action, environments, enemies and mechanics. I would love to see more psychological horror and less of the in-your-face variety.
i like Dead Space 1 alot but this one Guy say Dead Space 1 is the only game he got scared i dont believe that sure Dead Space 1 was aweasome and i have lots of von playing it but it was not scary. Dead Space 1 have a great atmosphere and i can whait for the remake.
