So, my thoughts on this Mega Fight. Beterbiev, (20 wins, ALL by KO) vs Bivol, 23 wins, 12 by KO, no draws or defeats between them. Beterbiev's fans give the impression that they believe that Bivol will just be another name to add to the list of cannon fodder for Artur. However, boxing is far more than just about how hard you can punch. Bivol is a master technician (as is Beterbiev) but he has better mobility, and is six years younger (33 to 39). He has a lethal jab, the foundation of the sweet science, and he will be able to get in and out of range, scoring in pockets, and frustrate Artur. Bivol will not have to go looking for Beterbiev, whereas Artur will have to look for Bivol. I see Dmitry winning arounds and Artur getting to the stage where he has to find the KO, and I think that will be harder and harder as the fight progresses, as most of the time Beterbiev would be ahead on the cards anyway. At the highest level, in my experience, eventually, KO artists get found out. Fury handled Wilder. Paro handled Mattias. I see this fight going the same way. Your power only gets you so far. Bivol by Unanimous Decision.
