I saw this horse in Santa Anita. Very striking looking - big beautiful chestnut. "Majestic" was a good choice of words.

Thank you to whoever posted this. My horse is a grandson of Majestic Prince. Piper (my horse) is not a racer, but a phenomenal jumper. Majestic Prince produced many great athletes

In addition I'd like to say Arts And Letters was a super horse. He and Majestic Prince were very close in talent, and if they could have competed thru the fall it would've been one for the ages.

I was standing next to Cawood in the box when he called the Derby for Majestic Prince in 1969.

"The Prince" was considered by many as one of the most beautiful horses ever seen. Even more important he was one of the true greats on the track. I believe he was going to run away with the championship if only his owner would have listened to his esteemed trainer Johnny Longden.

The first TC series I watched, at 10 years old, was in 1969. Even as a kid, I was impressed by the muscularity of The Prince. The shoulders and chest on him are massive.

Bill Hartack (RIP) said Majestic Prince was the beat he ever rode.

Don't you consider "KELSO" a horse of consequence? Many people do!
