This is a welcome bonus, I was considering getting a physical copy of this game for my Megadrive but can't really afford it right now so it's great to be able to play the game for free.
I agree with you on the collision detection, I also found the controls to be a little unresponsive when jumping which can make the game rather frustrating at times.
I'm still enjoying it though and I think it's worth grabbing.

I love the game as I am a sucker for 16bit Sega MD classics and appreciate they offer these for free to play.
Looks decent but as you said in the video, the timing of release feels strange given the Halloween theme. Keep up the awesome work!
Agreed, it's a decent game marred by a few issues. I think this was made prior to Eyra, which makes sense as that didn't suffer with a couple of the flaws. The controls seem to have been design with the standard megadrive controller in mind, hence just using 3 buttons and start, but yeah selecting abilities is a bit clumsy.

Your thoughts about the game are pretty much mine. It's a nice looking game but unfortunately seems like a case of graphics over gameplay.
Side note: I really hate that font. Doesn’t impact my view of the game, just thought I’d share.
Same developer as Eyra the Crow Maiden, eh? I _liked_ that game, but it didn't seem to have much under the surface. 'Felt a bit bland and unpolished after playing a few levels.
Yeah, it's not as good as Eyra. Far too frustrating. It's not bad but not great.
