Tbf they didn't actually show any of the songs/ music videos that had any of his vintage style songs in it (like his older song) so I can see why they were hyper-critical of G... Definitely could have shown them some songs and videos that better describe him as a person and artist. Still, some reactions seemed slightly harsh ahah, everyone has their own opinion though and you have to respect that 🤙🏻

I get why the reaction was what it was. But you guys only played songs that kind of was mainstream, his older music had a lot of 50s/60s influence as well as the use of contemporary rap elements. As a fan who's been following his journey I understand how much he has grown and where he stands now. I was OK with the reactions but I feel like y'all could've done better job at finding out who he really is. But overall love what you guys do as a channel.

I don’t think these people got the real image of G-Eazy with the songs they heard. He does put his heart and soul into his music the mainstream songs (besides Me Myself & I and Him & I) don’t represent that very well.
