Thats one helluva pump in that machine Schieb!!! 😮
You are absolutely correct with the square cuts and reading the wood. It's no fun cleaning those wedges out
The butt flair did not do them any good diving into the box.
Nice work gentlemen!!! Very satisfying to watch.
Dang brother some of those pieces were huge 🪵 I'm surprised that in quitman even cut those big chunks😮 there is a man's man's toy right there 🍻
Bad ass splitter Scheib!!! Great job
Impressive! Y’all split some huge gnarly stuff.
Enjoyed it! 👊🏻
Hey Scheib, just asking the same question that I have asked several YT channels that I subscribe to. I recently retired and am getting back into my workshop and am adding stickers to my man door and equipment. Just a thing that many of you RUclipsrs like to do and I like the idea. It's no big deal if you don't - just asking. You keep making great videos and I'll keep watching. Stay safe.
Great video I sharpened the box wedge on my Eastonmade and wow what a positive difference
That made a nice trailer load of red oak wooooo! 😮
I still want the 24d😂😂 tons if power💪💪
Hey Schieb , beast of a splitter 👍🏻🔥🪵
Nice splits, even from the big ugly rounds 😊 Good video 👍
Nice job splitting those
hi there good splitting show , your a good person to help someone , best to all john
Classic SMH look when you first see an Eastonmade working, priceless.
Those were some gnarly pieces. We've got just about the same amount of snow on the ground as you.
Looks it's going to get slushy and mushy by tomorrow, hitting 50+ temps, you timed it right.
Hello Schieb, That splitter is a beast. Nice wrestling with the wood.
thanks Larry and Robin hope all is well down there.
That splitter ate that wood up, it slowed down but never stopped
What a nasty bunch of rounds. Impossible without a log lift and a high tonnage splitter.
That conveyor is truly impressive for the stuff you run.
Sometimes those box wedges scare me when the splitter hesitates, and you hear all the creaky noises, like something ready to “explode”, not quite sure where you’re located but it sure looks like winter there. I live in SW Washington and we’re likely to get our first snow this weekend, enjoy your videos and I too drink Miller Lite! “BURP”
Thats some gnarly stuff....wooooooo
Nice job fellas.
Less than ideal wood for the box wedge but it managed to struggle through. 👍Wondering if Mike ever considered if it pushes wood through like it does what it would do to a hand that got in the way?😉
Those were monster pieces.
The man is back and twice as bad great video.
Nice work 👍 awesome
Great work on those nasty knotted logs!
Good stuff. I mean, narly stuff. Take care guys.
Hey Don. That 12-22 is all the splitter anyone would need. It pushed through everything you put on it. The conveyor is sweet!
When you see the 12-22 come to a stop you remember why you bought the 22-28, it don't come to a stop easily.
Thing just eats it.
That's a Beast 💖
SCHEIB pc of cake for EASTONMADE and the conveyor 😊.
I have met you a few times over the last few years at the Paul bunion show and forgot to ask you about your splitter, I have a rugged made 737 like your old one, it's all I could afford at the time, after watching you split that knotty stuff it did the job, I'm looking to upgrade, I really like the diesel, if I do get a new one hopefully it will be my last, so I want to get something that may be a little overkill, would you recommend the 37d , I would rather have more and I'm thinking it may not have to work as hard, just trying to get a few opinions of what I should get, thanks
22-28 would work well for you but if you want the 37D go for it you won’t have a worry in the world. Buy what makes you happy as jack from log cabin firewood would say.
Don what box wedge do you prefer for selling wood ? I run a 22-28 with standard 7 way like you used on this video . Running as small as i can they are ok but usually the wedge gets pushed up a little & then their to big for what i want. I believe the next size smaller is the 7 way pizza wedge that you run . Can you run that pizza wedge higher so the splits are thin but taller ?
For the wood that I sell I prefer the pizza wedge you can fine tune it better then the standard 7 way.
Would you say that if you have the 12-22, a conveyor is practically a necessity for keeping up?
I wouldn't say it is a necessity but I have ran it with out a conveyor and it is a lot more work moving the wood out of the way. The conveyor is worth at least 2 people in the roll that it plays with moving the firewood. A lot of guys are starting to just make piles to avoid the stacking I believe the conveyor is a must for that unless you want to spend half your day throwing the wood onto the pile.
QQQ Hi Schieb What's the Difference between your Easton Made Vs The Easton Made 37 D
The 37D is a diesel and has a larger frame for more splitting power
Still breathing hard ,,,, are ya still under the weather,,,, you need to quit smoking or you are not ever getting your health back
Box wedge still faster them with an axe 🪓 SCHEIB and Mike 😊.
