i’m was born in sacramento but i only really lived there for nine years...and he sort of seems to have like a proper accent?? if that makes sense? like for me with my accent i don’t really pronounce the ‘t’ in a lot of words like “wanted” or “couldn’t” im not sure if that’s a normal thing but yeah other than that, this is pretty much what we all sound like lol
Nah. I hear the accent. But we don't use T's. I grew up in NorthCal. And never in Sacrameno. The is silent like most of the words we pronounce. It's a cross between a southern accent and somewhere in the East coast like most of us.
Interesting, I’m from San Francisco and most people from the Bay Area don’t pronounce our Ts like this guy. For example we usually say “Sacramenno” or if the T is pronounced it’s very soft
I live in sacramento county of north highlands in the back roads if yall know i was born an raised in myrtle apartments and no lie everyon including my own family and friends say i have to be from the east coast they always say i have a strong accent of lile sacramento with like a newyork accent put together i do see it but i was raised with a family from newyork which they did have a stron new york accent when i was young so that could be why but i lived with thwm for 8 years and when i turned 12 i dipped to my grandparents and ever since i moved out but i still have this weird ass accent and i always get questioned for it ive heard new jersey, new york, Maryland, boston am, and the most reliable one is you sound like you from the east but then moved to north cali lol
I grew up in sacramento and still live here… 33 now… and I pretty much talk like this. People from out of state say I talk like I’m high 🤣 and that it’s very CA because it’s slow. However, I would say my enunciation is a little more clearer than this guy.
Yo bro I've been searching for my accent for so long, I can say it sounds normal!

I'm from Sacramento. This is about the accent I have.

We say it like that too. Lol sacramenno
a lot of Sacramentoans don't pronounce the T either, like me
Like people from London lol (I'm from Auburn CA)
Nobody who lives here pronounces the "t" in Sacramento, you can tell this guy moved away a while ago.
He’s talking like a news reporter. Could be local but is forcefully overpronouncing
He says a hard T when he says Sacramento. Thats suspect. Natives dont pronounce the T, we say it like Sacra-meno
didnt know Sacramento people had an accent, and im from there
Sacrumenno
SacramenTo ...lol get outta here with that
This sounds like a lot of the guys I know in Sacramento. Now I can kind of hear it.
he almost has kind of a... proper accent??? a lot of the younger people don't really enunciate their T's as much when the word stands alone

The emphasis on T is quite interesting
Must be something he picked up in college or in Europe. I’m from Sac and nobody emphasizes their T’s that way.
@@mandarenee1987 We don’t even pronounce the T in Sacramento😂
He sounds like someone from Sacramento that may be the son of Hispanic immigrants.
A lot of peeps grow up around a lot of Hispanic people in California so it could even be just who you hang out with
Omg! I was always thinking tha the baby's mother I take care of, has a different American Accent or it was my imagination 😄😄💕
This is like… news announcer accent. I can tell it’s local but… like other commenters say, its “proper” sounding.
I'm from Sac but live in Nashville, TN now. I get told that I don't have an accent...
Well people from Nashville have an accent accent if you know what I mean
Nah he says the T in Sacramento. Nobody says the T here. We say Sacramenno
i hear an African-American background ?
