- Welcome back to NWA Wrestling! We've got a packed show tonight as we inch closer to Clash in the Coliseum in Greensboro. Tonight's show has your favorite NWA stars so lets get started!
As fans may have noticed, former United States Champion Sgt. Slaughter has been stuck in a rut these past few months. He's been bested in just about every match and the frustration is beginning to show. A first round exit in the U.S. Championship Tournament was a tough loss to face, especially considering it was against Canadian rookie Owen Hart. The most recent loss was at last weeks untelevised show in Cincinnati where Slaughter and The Wild Samoans were bested by the Tag Champions The Road Warriors and Ricky Steamboat. That has led to tonight where Slaughter is putting it all on the line and issuing Slaughters Open Challenge. Who in the locker room will answer the call tonight?
The Junkyard Dog will get his rematch tonight against Hulk Hogan to decide the number one contender for Harley Race's Television Title. Last week the Champion interfered in the match and cost JYD the potential win over Hogan. It's unknown why as of now, but Harley Race has actually been appointed the role of special referee in this evenings rematch. Will he call it down the middle, or will we see a repeat of last weeks actions?
Two of the NWA's favorite wrestlers will square off in tonight's United States Championship Tournament semi-finals round, as the rookie Owen Hart takes on Sting! Owen Hart has surpassed everyone's expectations and maybe even his own. He's going to have his work cut out for him tonight as Sting will be no easy win. Sting has had his own dealings with The Four Horsemen these last few weeks as they have seemingly taken the NWA over, can Sting but that in the rearview mirror and focus on tonight's match?
On the topic of The Four Horsemen, after leader and NWA Heavyweight Champion Ric Flair fractured Commissioner Dusty Rhodes arm two weeks ago, Dusty is set to return tonight. Dusty announced on last weeks program that he will be coming out of retirement to team with Sting and Ricky Steamboat to take on The Horsemen at Clash in the Coliseum in 2 weeks time. In somewhat of a preview of that event, half of The Horsemen will be in action in tonight's main event where they will take on the fan favorite tag team, The Rock n' Roll Express. The Rock n' Roll have been fairly quiet since their return, they have picked up a couple wins in untelevised events the past few weeks and one can assume they are working towards a Championship match against The Road Warriors, so a win over any combination of The Horsemen would be huge.

Spectator mode - how do I assign my own custom camera angles?
I've tinkered with the mode, and it looks like there's a 4-way d-pad I can set with my own angles? I think? I'm finding it a little confusing.
If I could just pause the match while trying to get accustomed to the new spectator/free-cam mode I think I'd be alright, but if there is a way to do that then I haven't found it yet.
I can cycle through some presets, I've managed that much. But what I wanna do is assign my own personalized shortcuts with my own preferred camera angles.
I tried Googling, I tried RUclips, if there's a magic combination of words to search for then I haven't found them.
I'll be honest, I didn't even know that was a feature lol. I'm on ps5 and the way I've been using it is at the very start of the match I press triangle to get the ringside camera, and I try and stay cycling through those all around the ring (triangle goes counterclockwise and square is clockwise) as well as using X to focus on the different individuals. Depending on what's happening I'll click in on the stick so it's in a manual mode and then zoom in or out/pan around. Clicking the stick again goes back to the preset angle.
If there actually is a shortcut to have preset angles I'm absolutely going to explore that. If I figure anything out I'll be sure to let you know on this comment. I want to have a far away hard cam style shot included but I haven't been using it because its super disorienting to cycle to that camera from the ringside one.
@glorydayswrestling I'm on PC and I use a Logitech controller. It has colored buttons instead of shapes, but your tips will help me figure it out a little better.
The view I wanna get for my "studio wrestling" show is opposite the ramp camera, like the hard cam they used for Georgia Championship Wrestling back in the day. The lack of being able to pause and THEN play with the camera to find the view I want is annoyingly unintuitive.
I'm gonna keep trying too, and maybe one of us will figure something out, lol. I'm really shocked that no one's made a free cam tutorial yet (aside from "this is how you go into options to turn on the ramp view").
That's the camera view I want to use periodically as well. I'll see what I can find out today. Hopefully 2k expands on the spectator mode in 2k25, but I'm not keeping my hopes up for that lol
@glorydayswrestling I tinkered with it some more. The view is called "high west." And from what I see, I do think we're supposed to be able to set it, but it either doesn't work as intended (recurring 2k theme, unfortunately) or its more complicated than it needs to be.
I'm gonna write to 2k directly and ask them about it. Maybe if we're lucky, they either have the answer or they can hotfix it or at least add pausing the action as a feature in the next patch. Being able to pause before choosing which angle to use next would be a dream.

Making Hogana midcard act is revisionist history. Hogan was a major draw in the WWF and AWA and likely NWA if he hadn't have left.
