Definitely one of the best Boiler Rooms ever. Finally a crowd that actually and actively is partying (especially in Berlin a rare thing) For those hating on Otto's style - I guess back in the 90s you would have ran out of a club crying whenever Aphex Twin would've played
like its wild how the dude is doing something TOTALLY different from anything i have seen on boiler room... I cannot believe how much hes got control over the crowd. Otto is doing his own thing and KILLIN IT.

In the days before making my Boiler Room debut, I watched many Boiler Room sets from all my favorites and other names I wasn't familiar with. Anklepants for instance. When I watched his Boiler Room, the sheer audacity of his costume had to be #1 in the "no f*cks were given that day" dept. Now I've been an Otto fan for a hot minute. But never knew what he sounded like live. And to beat Anklepants in his own way? It's all win folks. Hands down the biggest influence to how I approached my own Boiler Room set.
Just watched your BR Frankie. Kinda sad the most inspiration you could take from this, is talking to people with fx over your voice and opening with an electro tune. You then proceeded to sloppily mix your way through tunes with some of the worst transitions I've EVER seen on BR. The 17 minute mark for instance. Again at 19:22. Unbelievably bad mixing. If that's how you carry inspiration to a new level. Do everyone a favor and sell your cdjs.
You're talking shit about the Anklepants' set while his has literally 300 times more views than yours. He also didn't train wreck 6+ transitions. If ever there has been a has-been...
So good to see some good freaky ass shit on Boiler Room. I already liked boiler room for their techno and house but the fact that they are able to diversify makes me respect Boiler Room a lot more! Great Job!!
This guy is legend.. :) I love it at about 20 mins in when the Knight offers him to ride his friend the horse.. I spit my beer all over my screen I laughed that hard.. wow...
Saw him live on stage once and everybody in the crowd went just crazy. Good times! There was huge line in front of the concert hall and some people were refused to be let in. Otto von Schirach is more a rock'n'roller and life performer for me, not a DJ, not a dancefloor track artist.
well, at 46:45 he says Mikhail (the german host who appears in a lot of Boiler Room sets) told Otto he can do one of his old breakcore tracks. And so he does.
Otto gave me ride home in Los Angeles once after a Jega and Pheonecia show. Had him play a show with Bogdan Raczynski in Minnesota that was unfortunately plagued by inept sound engineer. Still had a blast
normally i wouldnt listen to that kind of sound, but he makes this shit so interesting and appealing that ive been watching this many times now and also started to dig the music! especially the first few minutes rock hard!

For those hating on Otto's style - I guess back in the 90s you would have ran out of a club crying whenever Aphex Twin would've played
I was too young to see Aphex in the 90's but I've heard legendary stories. Then DJ's do the same thing today that Aphex introduced 25 years ago.
Comparing this to Aphex Twin would most likely make Aphex Twin cry...
Nah I mean it's not a direct evolution but they are definitely cousins
