Hey I was thinking of getting gobo projector For an event, to shine a motif Design on the wall. I wanted the motif to cover One wall completely, is this possible are they Gobo’s That can cover a whole wall
PRO TIP: Give the Bride and Groom the monogram after the wedding. The actual steel monogram, I have brides almost cry after the wedding when I give it to them as a keep safe.
Also I highly recommend getting your mongoram (gobos) made from NLFX they cost about $70.00 but always have my gobo to me within 3 business days!

Great video Barr! Thank you! I do not charge enough. Raising price next year! Pro Gobo is the absolute best! I never stress with them. Arnoldo turned me on to them. I use a Chauvet EZ Gobo and give them the gobo with a follow up card. Good call Rick Web!

That is so DOPE, I've been following ur channel for a little over 6mo now and U put out some good info. I like how U keep it real. Nice! I may actually get one myself. I have another gobo projector (different brand) already that I don't really like. And some times I get them made for my moving heads, allows me to as some cool color and lighting effects.

What kind of case do you use to carry your ADJ Ikon profile gobo projector?
Do they sell a film that makes the light warmer?
Also, if I set up the projector 15 feet high, pointing towards the stage area at a wide angle (to make it look decently big) would the monogram still look sharp?
Last question, I seen a few monograms from this Projector in which the corners of the monogram looks a bit blurry.. what can I do to prevent that??

Bought the black one for a wedding but placements were too far away so projecting them made logo way to big and couldn't shrink it
I don't think you need to worry about future clients watching your product demos and getting your price margins. They will mostly be worried about watching your weddings and how you perform. I believe the demos are tech stuff they would'nt be interested in.
Absolutely right! I've custom gobo from instagobo to project in brother's wedding. The project affect is great, i dont care about how the projector work and what tech advance.

HI PHENOMENAL AJ FROM TRINIDAD , I prefer using a normal projector for THESE , reasons it cost the same or a lot less , THE projector Tripod Floor Stand Holder & 360° Swivel Ball Head Bundle Kit - Adjustable Height (29.5" - 77") TSBH-8846 cost $35 and these projectors can use for a lot more uses ,, and Boom the most important aspect of it all is no down time or nerve ricking waiting on orders for GOBO FILE ORDERS , you can do it yourself on you computer and put it on a flash drive .. whamm , what you guys think . keep up the good work Baryardo.
I actually just use an Epson projector. Make the design, and boom it's done.

You can even rent a video projector from some audio visual places such as Long and McQuade here in Canada, for 65.00 which saves money while making money and you don't have to worry about the gear being outdated or obsolete in a couple years. Not every client will want a monogram so the projector may not be needed and owning it could be a waste. Why spend 600.00 on an item you won't be using that much. I still like the product but waiting for gobos in the mail and spending more money on a company to design and ship them to you is also not the most reliable. Do it yourself and no problems. Plus newer projectors are totally wireless.
How much you charge clients for gobo service?
Cant find any info about gobo service on idj.com. But you could custom gobo on instagobo.com. The price is affordable.

Although some people in here said projectors can be used, this is at a much lower price point.
DJ Alpha I got a badass projector for around $350. It’s only 720p but I can run visuals at the club and animated gobos as well as still Image gobos. And there is no paying for a custom bogo you just make it in photoshop.

I think any service that anyone offers with the word "wedding" slapped on it is over priced. Wedding Catering, Wedding DJ, Wedding Chairs and tables, Wedding venues, Wedding etc etc. Anytime you say wedding it automatically jumps the price up hundreds of dollars.Its a huge ripoff if you ask me. But I guess they assume that everyone having a wedding can afford it right? Weddings are so overpriced and over rated...

Hi Barr,
Been a fan of your channel for a while, and love the barrage of content you’ve been putting out lately.
However, I don’t think it’s smart for your business to disclose your margins. Keep in mind some of your clients watch your videos, and now you’ve provided them a bargaining chip for their next booking.
Keep in mind, the average customer is not going to spend $400 for a gobo that they would not use on multiple times. Part of his expense of the gobo is storage and setup plus wear and tear on his gear. That can be said for his total package price. Barr or any other dj makes whatever they charge by selling a total package service.
Good comment, show case is good, but keep pricing private. Because future clients will most likely view more than just wedding videos.
you guys keep it private because you like screwing your customers. This is an add on feature and you really shouldnt be trying to break your customer over something so minor!

I think it's important to share pricing. Today DJ prices are all over the place. Mostly because new DJs don't know what a fair price is. I think disclosing the price is good knowledge because his target audience is DJs. If a one or two couples see this soo what! This bargaining chip is so minor.

You will have more cables to setup but really if you think about not having to buy every gobo at 50+$ a projector is less setup cause you just make the gobo yourself and no waiting on it in the mail.
