But it's incredibly important that I protect my favourite genre, so that it remains so progressively underground that noone will ever have the opportunity to hear my mate Dave's god like proto-neo-modern minimal deep dark industrial tech house. It is essential that it not be enjoyed, imitated, allowed to grow and ultimately evolve into something I no longer enjoy, that will inspire younger generations into spawning entirely new genres in its honour, that will sound like s**t noise. Dave needs to stay skint too, or the music won't be real. Absolute truth in your words. We're nearly 40 years down the road in a scene grounded in peace, love and unity.
