DEXON MFL 24"Pull Through Test

DEXON Technology utilizes both computer simulation software, real life pull testing and full scale mock-up pipeline testing to prove the capabilities and endurance of all In Line Inspection (ILI) tools. In this video you can see a series of pipeline pull tests being conducted at various ILI velocities and with various POF-2016 standard defects, in order to establish each ILI’s detection capabilities and Probability Of Detection (POD). Such “Pull Tests” are often performed together with clients, to ensure both parties of the ILI’s pipeline inspection performance and capability.
