It’s been a fantastic event and one that I’ve been very thrilled to have been able to help with. I’m sure I recognise a couple of those youngsters from previous days - you can’t ask for more than repeat customers. The enjoyment that the kids have been getting from driving is absolutely priceless. It amuses me to see the slightly older ones sometimes trying to act all cool but you can tell that inside they’re really loving it. And then the grown ups who finally “reluctantly” decide to have a go themselves, and it ends up impossible to prose the controllers out of their hands. 😄
WELL DONE EVERYONE, I watched the build of the layout, and all the problem solving, and then to see all the people both young and old playing trains, is just fantastic, you should all feel so very proud of yourselves for such a massive and successful achievement, WELL DONE.
Fantastic video, Dave! I really enjoyed watching this while sitting eating my dinner at the Blue Cap near you 😊 Thank you for putting me in your video 😊👍🏼
After watching the Rebuild, watching everyone enjoying themselves in every Video, the next part of the dismantling is a sad part, so many FUN MEMORIES, WELL DONE ALL, :) that includes the SEXY SANDWICH MAKER
I would have liked to have visited Blakemere village for another look at Pete's amazing layout but family commitments kept me away, though I had seen the layout at the Cathedral and also at GETS in Milton Keynes. It was very enjoyable watching the expressions on the youngster's faces as they controlled the various trains. This is what most railway exhibitions lack. I am working up to go to the NEC to see the 'Final Frontier', will the 'Railnuts' team be dressing up as the 'Star Trek' crew?
Great to see the youngsters enthralled. Tablet control isn't for me (yet?) although Im slowly embracing DCC. For children like my four grand-kids tablets are so intuitive from their gaming etc that unlike me brought up on control knobs and switches they just know what to do..
Great video Dave...so this is it Making Tracks for Christmas is coming to it's end I am going to see it again tomorrow does anyone know what time it actually closes tomorrow?Well done Pete Waterman and all the Railnuts and everone who helped make this all happen.
