Because that shit is true!! lol it was 94°F in Tampa,FL when I left for a business trip to Las Vegas… there it was 105°F and I’d take that 105°F dry heat over Tampas humid heat ANY DAY!
As a latina, I can say definitely not😅 You look silly, you get bullied for years to come😂 Or you ruin the picture and the rest of the fam will give you the evil glare
No, as someone from the tropics of Queensland Australia, It IS the humidity that will make folks faint, regardless of colour. Good luck coming here and not dying. Y'all could never.
Absolutely. I have lived in the Mojave Desert and now QLD. Difference is, you sit in the shade in a dry heat, you cool off. 40 with 85% humidity feels like you are being boiled, complete with breathing water instead of air.
If you’ve lived in Cadiz (Spain) and lived in Miami or even Panama (country) in the summertime, you know the humidity can absolutely leave you depleted of energy. Same temp just humidity. Both are difficult. On the other side, with humidity you don’t need humectants on your skin. 🙏🏻
😂😂 This is so true!! Okay even though I’m brown, I’m so culturally white compared to my local Hawaiian/Filipino husband. Nothing bothers him more than when I order pineapple pizza (with Canadian bacon 🤔).
I love this. I've been lucky enough to have lived on Oahu and Maui. I feel in love with the culture, the people and my bff is the reason why. She's from Hawaii. I have to say Hawaii will always my second home. ❤🏝 The best thing about Hawaii are my 2 greatest souvenirs, now 20 and 8! 😂
As someone who lives in Canberra where it’s so dry the humidity is an actual killer! I used to be able to handle it growing up but not anymore And when I visit home and complain about it my mum always says “at least we don’t live in Cairns!!!”
@oliviacowie5791 I don't remember humidity being bad growing up, but the last few years have been awful. I also didn't know Canberra had bad humidity. If I ever visit there I'll go in winter.

My Mum says the humidity one 😂😂. She LOVES hot weather but where I live it's a dry heat. She's a Flight Attendant and used to love doing Hong Kong's, but always said the humidity there was absolutely fricked. Like step off the subway and you're drenched in humidity and sweat. She also said the humidity in Hawai'i hit a bit different because of the breeze.
Hawaiian haystacks are a common potluck/buffet meal. Start with a white rice base with a chicken in gravy sauce, then add any toppings you want from the array on offer - usually said like pineapple, coconut, bell peppers, olives, sunflower seeds, chow mein noodles, etc. It sounds disgusting. It doesn't look much better. It's tastes better than it should
Does humidity not affect everyone? I personally get very sick. Got immune problems and humidity almost lands me in the emergency room. I feel like I’m suffocating in a steam room. Wasn’t like that growing up but when I had my son a decade ago, my body completely changed😭😭 I can’t stand heat the way I liked it growing up…
The heat doesn't take you down l....the humidity does. I had no problem living in Phoenix...but Kansas??? KANSAS?!?!?!? It's like Satan turned on the sauna.
people cool down by evaprating sweat, if the ambient air contains to much water people can t cool down properly , tha ts why a 100 degrees in arizona does not feel the same as a 100 degrees in hawaii florida or singapour
I’m black and from the south I’ve said all of these except the pizza one. And yall really don’t t get it Hawaiian pineapples hit different 😂 that’s why everybody who tries them are shocked.
Idk, I've never heard anyone say any of that stuff. Maybe the "white people" you're talking about are your inlaws.... or maybe white people from other parts of the country but not here in LOUISIANA.... if anybody on here is from Louisiana or the south, I'd welcome any rebuttal???
I never actually knew saying burrrrrr was a real thing until I worked with this haole girl. I read it in books but didn't know people actually said it 😂
I have never understood the humidity one. I live in Okinawa and here it is not the humidity that kills you no matter how much people say it. It's the sunlight. It burns flesh off pale people in minutes. I saw a girl so burned she got sun sickness. Even I try to wear sunscreen so I don't get sunlines. And then we take silly pictures tee hee. (It has now turned into a posing competition usually centered around who can look most ridiculous while eating.)
I'm dying 😂 I definitely say the heat/humidity thing and do the silly picture thing 😂😂😂
Because it IS the humidity!
Is the humidity! When it is 100 where I live (PNW) it's HOT. But I've been to Utah, southern California and it's not so bad
Because its trueee
Because that shit is true!! lol it was 94°F in Tampa,FL when I left for a business trip to Las Vegas… there it was 105°F and I’d take that 105°F dry heat over Tampas humid heat ANY DAY!
It’s true💯💯
So true! Don't all families take the "silly one" ?
My family doesn't even take a picture to begin with
No lol
As a latina, I can say definitely not😅 You look silly, you get bullied for years to come😂 Or you ruin the picture and the rest of the fam will give you the evil glare
As a black person, I can definitely say we do not. 😂
I came to comment but others have it covered (above) ... No, never! 😂
Why did I think that was tiger woods at first😂
Omg sameeee😂
Haha me too!
For sure lol
Same
It's because you are racist
I live in Houston and I felt that. We have bad humidity. I’m from Ukraine and love the weather in Texas.
As a person that lives in a tropical climate and also brown.... The humidity really does kill you.
No, as someone from the tropics of Queensland Australia, It IS the humidity that will make folks faint, regardless of colour. Good luck coming here and not dying. Y'all could never.
Right lol, I didn't get that one either. It's literally a fact 😂, regardless of skin color.
Absolutely. I have lived in the Mojave Desert and now QLD.
Difference is, you sit in the shade in a dry heat, you cool off.
40 with 85% humidity feels like you are being boiled, complete with breathing water instead of air.
@@deanna7294oh heyyy I live close to the Mojave desert. Cool!
It's a joke, not a personal attack....
I am cackling. I have said all of those things THIS WEEK 😂
🤣

Had a friend come from Arizona to Nebraska. Arizona is hot but the humidity nearly killed them.
Humidity essentially suffocates your skin and takes away your bodies ability to naturally cool down through sweat. It's truly a nasty thing lol
This one hit different 😂 as a Hawaiian I can laugh with your husband #relateable
😂😂 This is so true!! Okay even though I’m brown, I’m so culturally white compared to my local Hawaiian/Filipino husband. Nothing bothers him more than when I order pineapple pizza (with Canadian bacon 🤔).
Bro that literally happened last night for christmas eve photos😂 “now do a silly one” 😂😂
When I was in HI I was happy about the LACK of humidity. Compared to July in Wisconsin.
💯💯!! Had same convo with my husband when we went to visit my family in Hawaii. 😂😂
That humidity saying is straight-up fact. As a white Australian, I say it at least four times every summer. 😂
As someone who lives in Canberra where it’s so dry the humidity is an actual killer! I used to be able to handle it growing up but not anymore
And when I visit home and complain about it my mum always says “at least we don’t live in Cairns!!!”

Okay the energy in this is amazing.
He reminds me of lo beeston. Like the uncontrolled giggles hahahaha I love it
I’m a black Texan raised around white people I can confirm that I have even adopted these things
This is so true!! But I say now a silly one because it creates more memories.❤
I feel the silly one is universal 😂
My friend Marta lives on Kona. She talks like you do. I guess we are more integrated on the mainland.🤔
That's what we say in Texas. The humidity is horrible
the silly picture one in my country is "ok now lets fo free style!" as if the ones before are intricately choreographed lol
I thought that was tiger woods for a second lol
Isn’t Hawaiian pizza some kinda Canadian thing? lol this was so funny to watch. Your laughter is contagious
It certainly is. It was created by a Greek immigrant in the 50s.
It's so good tho haha
a Greek immigrant in Canada actually invented the pineapple pizza 😢

@@christinew4108 I thought it was the US. thanks for correcting me, I just edited my comment so it's the right info.
Humidity is the content of moisture in the air, which makes the air thicker/ more dense, so I totally get that one lol.
To get authentic Hawaiian pizza, you have to come to Canada. We were the crazies who put pig and Pinapple on a perfectly good pizza
It is the humidity! I’m Vegas it was 120 less than 10% humidity and 88 in Orlando. Got heatstroke in 88 and 90% humidity!!! Haystacks are a Utah thing
Arent Hawaiian haystacks a popular Morman dish 😂
The humidity in Georgia is ridiculous sometimes 😂
😂😂😂 took Xmas photos today
And we literally did a silly one after all the pretty ones were done 😂😂😂
The video under this one in my algorithm is “top worst Mormon foods” and pops up a recipe for Hawaiian Haystacks. XD I remember eating them as a kid.
Bahaha, all of these! You forgot the white people “oop” when almost running into someone/something 😂
These stereotypes are really funny 😂😅
"This day and age"
"Bizarre"
"Alrighty then"
"Golly"
I could go on forever
lol I’m half white half Pacific Islander..I hear the weirdest things from both sides 😆
Oh my God, both of my parents say that about the humidity that’s so accurate 🤣🤣
My Mum says the humidity one 😂😂. She LOVES hot weather but where I live it's a dry heat. No because that first one i hear more from people from the islands lmaoo
Yo! 😂 the first one! I almost peed..😅
this is definitely an individual thing, as i've heard various races say one of the things and the rest i've never heard.
I love how he looks to her for value confirmation..what a man!

The "silly" pic is 100% a Utah thing!!!
My husbands mommmmmmm just said that today after taking family photos!!! I have never paid attention to that until nooooowww!!😂😂😂
Can confirm. The humidity is part of the reason we have “cooling stations” during the summer in my country. 😂
It IS the humidity though!
Yes I’m white…..
Hahhaha, and in Hawaii the next picture is, "Now shaka!"
the humidity one word for word 😂
I like that this one is actually hilarious and accurate not just like racist yk 😂
At least we can talk right. We don’t say things like “nuffin” or “be more pacific”
That’s funny cause it Arizona we say “it’s a dry heat”
Does humidity not affect everyone? I personally get very sick. Got immune problems and humidity almost lands me in the emergency room. I feel like I’m suffocating in a steam room. Yes! I had NO problem living in Vegas, but moved back to the south, and the humidity takes me out!!
It’s a tradition to do a silly picture every year with my family. It was fun when I was 13 but 15 years later and I’m really over it 😂
I,m from Tenerife and the first one is totally true!!.
I just learned today with Hawaiian haystack was 😂😂. Apparently a lot of Mormon families eat them.
I take offense.😂😂😂😂So true!
I’m from Australia and the humidity is no joke. Doesn’t matter what colour you are … it’s thick.
I’m married to a Hawaiian and I know exactly what you’re talking about…. So funny
I’m black but my family always says “let’s do a silly one!” after every pic 😂
Imagine if they said “things that black people say”. It would not be a joke 😂
As a white person who’s been to Hawaii, the pineapple really is better.
HAHA. As a white woman the first one I feel so attacked. 😂
😂😂🤣🤣🤣
As a white person, true - especially the silly picture. But also WTH is a Hawaiian haystack 😂?
I think Hawaiian pizza is a Canadian invention iirc
The heat and humidity thing is real.

Not the authentic Hawaiian haystacks 💀
I live in Western Colorado andI say hat all the time ? I’m missing the punch line?
I’m DEAD it’s on point 😂
I think taking a silly picture is such an endearing feature of white culture
the silly on comes first 😤

Her mascara is perfect

Humidity cause air is heavier making harder to breathe from asthmatic....wet hot heavy air to breathe
Hawaiian Haystacks = Mormon food
“Now let’s take a silly one!” Peak white American culture
I like that they are cracking up

Discrimination anyone?
I feel like this is more when Midwesterners go to Hawaii.
Things black people say;
GIVE ME HELP AND ITEMS FOR NOTHING, IM OPPRESSED
I have never understood the humidity one. I live in Okinawa and here it is not the humidity that kills you no matter how much people say it. It's the sunlight. It burns flesh off pale people in minutes. I saw a girl so burned she got sun sickness. Even I try to wear sunscreen so I don't get sunlines. And then we take silly pictures tee hee.
