When Starlito reached out and said he wanted to come to the show. We were excited. He said he liked what we was doing and he wanted to make his rounds and give back. When I first met Lito, we were in Club Senses in Memphis. Dude walked up on me after leaving the dj booth, asked me was I good and shook my hand. As a 18,19 year old aspiring artist at the time, I felt like that was one of the realest things an artist could do. That man didn’t know me from a can of paint but still showed love so I forever respect him for that.

I started listening to starlito in 2010. My homie gave me the renaissance gangsta CD 💿 and I played the CD without skipping a song. That renaissance gangsta CD, I listen to when I ride through Memphis because it got me through a time I was in a dark place on life. Then that mental warfare is my next album I listen to and my favorite track on that one Is that “mental warfare ft Robin, she’s always singing his courses and they made some great songs together. I give starlito his flowers now as a true fan. 🤝

I’m glad he talked about the transition into music that would last longer, I’d heard of him in 05/06 around the time of starlito way 2 and yo gottis back to the basics. Over the next couple years songs like shake life and I go ham were cool but I wasn’t really feeling em. I think he started making the transition around sw3 or ultimate warrior but I Didn’t tap back in until mental warfare and realized he was one of the most relatable rappers out there for me
