    Thank you for the tutorial. Just received the Yamaha clarinet shipped to the US. Couldn't find Prof Weinberg's oil in the US so using Yamaha bore oil.

    It's the same oil for trumpet? Or it's specific oil for clarinet? Thanks

      Hi - No, the bore oil for wooden instruments is designed specifically for that internal usage. Trumpets don't need any internal oil, but they do use valve oil which is to help the pistons move smoothly, it is a different type of oil.
