The Monad in Philosophy

- We live out our lives in the Mind of the universe, and for thousands of years, philosophers, theologians, and scientists have called that unitary source of reality at the beginning of time-the Monad. In philosophy, it’s the etheric Substance at the root of both mind and matter. For theologians, the Monad is the logos or Word of God. In science, it’s the Big Bang singularity from which the physical universe emerged. In mathematics, the Monad is defined as the zero-point origin of all numbers.
In your life, the Monad is the singularity in your own consciousness, the point of view from which you experience the world. The commonplace experience of being a single point of awareness in your own mind-of being impeccably whole in your own little world-is a reflection of the Monad in you.
This is Chapter 2 of the book "In the Mind of the Universe: the Monad and You!" by Dennis William Hauck. Available on Amazon at amzn.to/489vk5H
I Appreciate Your Work. I'm enjoying solving This Puzzle 😎🎶
By definition, there can be only one all-inclusive or Absolute Being (Life), in which all relative beings live, move and have their Being.
Love is the conscious recognition (namaste') of our shared Being.
Excellent Thankyou 👋💚👍Creator of this.....
Yes, children are still close to the monadic state. Try meditating on this by staring at the center dot and relaxing . . . Thanks for watching!
thank u
I was wondering if you were still around. A year ago I went to the Rosicrucian Museum and saw your Alchemy exhibit. I spent a lot of time there. Are you giving talks again? I would love to see a conversation between you and Dr. Robert Gilbert. Another one I'd like to see is between you and Grandmaster Julie Scott. Could you do a video on Gnosticism or Coptic practices as they relate to Alchemy with a tie to early Christianity? My opinion is that the Bible contains fragments of much earlier esoteric works. Christ spent years in Egypt in his early life, I'm most interested in speculation that he not only visited the mystery schools along the Nile, but gleaned a lot of understanding from his proximity to various Temples and the rich legacy of Egyptian history. I mean, you have fragmented accounts in his later life of undergoing a trial in the desert, (initiation) turning water into wine, infusing life force into or out of plants and human bodies (Lazarus) and other incidents suggestive of control over transformational energy. I believe he learned a lot of his monotheistic value system from selected Egyptian schools of thought. There is no doubt he was spiritually gifted to start with if certain incidents of his early childhood are credible. Coptic teachings are nearly inaccessible these days and for good reason. They had to go underground to escape persecution. The Rosicrucian tie into to Coptic and Gnostic traditions is of great interest to myself and others.
There seem to be two different practices in Alchemy - the external treatment of substances to purify them and potentiate them and the aspect of internal practices to potentiate the energetic body energy to increase life force and consciousness. The West seems to have been primarily interested in external alchemy while the East seems to be interested in internal alchemy.
Thanks so much. I am not planning any workshops at present. Got used to Zoom during covid but will post here or at MonadManifesto.com if we plan anything. Very interesting topics for sure, and I much respect the other authors you mention.
@@firstmatter Thank you Prater Hauck. I have one idea you might explore. A guy on an ancient history channel I watch, made an appeal to viewers about offering a patron subscription. For $1.00 a month a person could get to vote for what topic to present in the next podcast. The idea was that he would periodically make a list of 5-10 subject areas and people would vote on the subject they wanted to see most. A second tier of $5.00/mo. allowed subscribers to contribute topic ideas to his list in the general vote.
This way he was informed in a democratic way what the public wanted to learn. The benefit for him was that he researched and learned more and became more engaged with his audience. His videos improved in focus and detail. Just an idea....
